Wednesday is Bike Night at Quaker Steak. It's off of Polaris. Take 71n to Polaris, turn left, it's south of Polaris on Lyra. Look for bikes. I'll be the fat guy on this Thursday night... The A.D. Farrow Co./Columbus HOG Chapter “Blue Moon Ride.” Thursday, May 31, meet at 8, leave at 8:30 p.m., Downtown Columbus Dealership. Sorry, I plagarized the newsletter. I work untill 8pm both nights, so I'll be there shortly after that. |

Hmmmmmmmmm. Wednesday's no good for me this week. But maybe next week?! The Thursday night ride intriges me! I have an exam at 6:00, but I'm usually done with those within a half an hour. Any idea where or how long the ride will be? Not that it matters. You know what... I think I'm just going to go ahead and say it.... I'm in! I'll be at Farrow's by 8:00! |

From what I've heard place is a madhouse from what I understand...Never been to one but a couple of friends have went and basically stated it wasn't as much fun as it sounded. I do want to hit Whiskey Dicks when the bring that dynodrag back around, they had the two years past, so I'm hoping they bring it down this year as it sounds like fun... |

Bike night wasn't that great. We ended up leaving around 9 and took High St. to Broad and headed home. I will be at the Blue Moon at Farrows! |

Bike night at the lube can be fun if you head up with a few friends. But if you go up by yourself looking for fellow Buell riders you will be doing a lot of this.....

Did a little calling around and here's what I found: Blue Moon Ride Meet at 8:00 at downtown farrow's leave at 8:30 Head up riverside to hayden run, over to London, then to grove city, then back. Totals around 70 miles, and probably close to 2 hours. It says all bikes welcome, but then it says to bring your HOG card. I don't really know what that means. |

The ride was great...well organized...good riders. There were 3 Buell riders on 2 Buell machines...Mikef5000 and his lady friend on a Bright Friggin Yellow M2, and myself on the silver XB9S. Unfortunately, our bikes were clean, much to the disappointment of the 28 H-D straddlers who were quick to point out certain shiny bits. I'll do better next time. And yes, the Blue Moon did shine! Alicia and I had a good time. I had to show off my Buell Powah a couple times when we got left behind the group at a few traffic lights. I was romping on it a bit, watching the big headlights get smaller and smaller behind me. Thumper, what happened? Get stuck at work? |

More plagarizing from the newsletter:
quote:CycleFest Will Be Is A Bike Lover’s Dream! CycleFest is a 3-day bike event planned for July 6-8 at National Trail Raceway in Kirkersville. Friday, July 6, we’ll "Rumble To The Races" for a group ride down the drag strip and hang out. Saturday and Sunday, July 7 and 8, there will be awesome bike drag racing, "fun runs" for us regular folks, rock and roll, food, beverages, festivities, autograph sessions and good times. Camping will be available as well. This will be a party!
I'd be interested in a few fun runs to see what kind of numbers I could pull. |
