José, >> How did you like it? Was cool, but would like an optional F15 canopy for those rainy dayz. Hell, still don't know how much they are and don't have room for one anywayza... plus, I'd get in a lot of trouble -- the last snowmobile experience (in AK) I had one ski skyward... >> Does it fit me? Looks about right!

Long time lurker, first time poster, just wanted to add my 2 cents ... unfortunately I had to leave Summit Point a little earlier than expected ... but I had an AWESOME time, and got plenty of sun too It was great meeting the Jersey Buellers, Anthony & family, Lars, Jose and Christian ... can't wait for the next time !!! John p.s. Is anybody planning on heading up for a track day on 06/20, 07/05, 07/27 or 08/24? I'd love to go myself, if I can swing it with work, relocation, etc. "Thou shalt not whine!" |

Hey Jojorox.. Who do you track ride with, NESBA? I usually ride with TPM and they have a good number of dates at Summit as well as some other pretty nice tracks (VIR, BeveRun) and then there's uh.. Pocono (not so good a track IMHO).. Thanks for the pics Jose (racing thread), reminds me why I'm still so slow.. Too much weight on the bike, huh? I'm hoping to start getting shots up in the next day or so.. Damn, so many pictures and so little web space I have to sort through them, then choose the best and store the rest.. so to speak. I'm pretty sure I got some shots of the some of the fans while I was at it.. We'll see who when I start posting at my page. Oh, and what do you think if I once again put up a special 'BadWeb' page of Buell related shots? If I can swing it, I may do that again - similar to what I did for the IMS. What'cha think? Does anyone know if I have a helmet lock on this XB12R that I haven't found? Hoping to head to Buell of Balt to pay Scott a visit... the bike will have about 1100-1200 miles on it by then and need to get that first service. Those three wheel thingys look interesting but I think I would rather lean with it. |

You have to take a Buell out on a demo to get the messenger bag, but sometimes they'll give it to you if you ask. |

Thanks Ramon. Will see if this weekend presents an opportunity to demo something, though I'm still holding out to see what comes down the road to go with my new lid.

If you want to demo some Triumphs, Clinton Cycles is having their open house Saturday. http://www.clintoncycles.com/index.cfm?fuseaction= templates.display&Page=events.eventlist&Menu= I'm sure some HD/Buell dealer nearby is having something but I'm not aware of any. |

Turnagain.. I think the 'end' of that promotion was yesterday... Did you get out and ride a bike/get a bag? If not, check with the dealer(s), some will still give you one, if they have it.. others will give them to their employees and friends and then tell you you're S.O.L. Others .. may still have a box of them in their storage taking up space complaining about how Buells don't attract people at all and they wish folks would stop asking about some stupid bag thing when there are perfectly good H-D bags to be had for only a couple of C-notes. |

Hey guys! Sorry for not making ANY of the events this past weekend... =( Prior life commitments precluded participating... On late Saturday evening, I did make a short solo ride down to the Wall, Iwo Jima Memorial, and WWII Memorial. First time actually walking the Wall. Moving experience, especially when I saw a little girl atop her Daddy, asking him to point out where Grandpa was... Held back the tears out of her sight, but I couldn't help feel her loss... WWII was awesome at night! As was Iwo Jima! There were bikes EVERYWHERE! Plus bus fulls of kids. I hope they walked away appreciating the great sacrifice from many before them... I had full intentions to participate on Monday's ride out to Summit Point. Ended up having to work at our local church with my two oldest boys. Was well worth missing it, spent some good "father/son" time with them.. This weekend, I'm out in San Diego, CA. Picking up a Deuce from Eaglerider and hitting the local twisties. I'm told the place to go is Julian and further up North to Palomar Mt. That will be Sunday's ride. Tomorrow, I'm going up the Pacific Coast Hwy. and try to make it up The Rock Store, of Jay Leno fame. Should be a good day to ride! Hope you guys have a great riding week! The temps here will be around 60-65! Little cooler than NoVa. =) Ride SAFE! Sebastian |

Pete, Ft. Washington falls into the 'some will still give you one, if they have it' category.
Got the bag, some sale items, redeemed my coupon for the long over promo and got a spare to boot.tx |

Karl, Yesh, for $15, I got a nice piece of art. Only problem is, once you start, you've got to get more. Here, started to personalize my new bucket, though it didn't last very long:

Owners of Harleys and sport bikes are invited to show off their rides during downtown Hampton's Summer Street Fest 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday. The event takes place along Queensway. Saturday at HD Frederick. Come see me. We have one each of '06 XB12S (black/amber) and XB12Ss (Sunset Orange with matching wheels). They need new homes, and I hope they go to badwebbers on Saturday ...and if I get off my ass and install my new gaskets and accelerator pump diaphragm, I'll be riding my S1W. Without fuel puking down my right leg. Or up. Whatever. It all feels bad. Seriously though - we'll have free food, music, and (usually) beer, but I don't know if a couple of isolated events from last year ruined that last one....it's a good time nonetheless. If nothing else, come by and take a test ride - we've got plenty of messenger bags! |

To anyone thinking of attending the Javalina MC strip club poker run. I've heard tales of a few of these.. Usually they start drinking at the first club and continue for the entire ride. I've heard tales of REALLY drunk individuals getting on their bikes and riding like maniacs to get to the next bar. Consider this a heads up. |

Hey Guys, Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Because of Triathlon season, I have plans for almost every weekend through September. (though I have a weekend or two free in August). Plus right now, the Firebolt is out of commission. Its not good when the shop (HD of Baltimore) says "We don't carry that part, because we've never seen that go bad". My oil hoses just above the lower fairings broke inside the insulation, so we couldn't see where it was. They've had it for two weeks, and still haven't gotten the part yet. So there goes my father's day ride. Happy Riding, and maybe I'll get a ride in with you guys sometime this summer!! Moy |

Yes, people drink. That doesn't mean you have to, nor ride with those who do. I don't drink and always leave a few minutes after the group leaves for this reason. |
