I purchased the BEST motorcycle ever built. A 2006, XB12X Ulysses, the good looking black one of course! Just rode it home tonight and it now has 8965 miles. It has been the best purchase I've ever made! No problems what so-ever! The only thing I've done to it so far is put a Cee Bailey's 16" windshield on it and added the complete set of Buell luggage. I purchased the complete race set but I haven't put it on yet, I'll wait till winter most likely because I don't want to miss any riding time. I found a dealer who has the Dunlop D-616 and will likely change my back tire in the next 2000 miles or so. Still looks good and is holding up well, even though I plugged it at around 1000 miles. No pinging, front end wobbling, electrical problems, NOTHING!!! absolutely NO Problems with this bike! Best motorcycle ever made. I went to Ukes for the Buell demo days last week and test rode 4 different new Buells and the best one I rode was the one I rode home on! Mine!!! The only mistake I've made so far is waiting so long before actually purchasing it! If there is anyone thinking about purchasing a new motorcycle, don't make the same mistake I did by waiting so long. |

That is so awesome to hear. It seems on forums (all forums) people are always posting up there problems, but you rarely get to hear this type of thing. |

Mine was a year old back in November (day after Thanksgiving ironically). So, it's a year and a half old. I've got about 12,000 miles on her. I've only had two minor things go wrong. The fan went bad at around 5000 miles and the counter sprocket seal sprung a leak shortly after that. Both were fixed under warranty. The bike runs better than when it was new. I've done two track days, and it performed flawlessly. Even passed a few bikes that shouldn't have (like a Gixxer 1000 ). It's big, comfortable, and loads of fun to ride.
