There was a question answered by an anomy a couple of years ago. The nature of the answer led me to beleive that it could only have been answered by Mr. Buell. |

I just did a search for anonymous to refresh my memory a little. Many, many anony posts are people on the inside at Buell and not Erik. However two threads in particular, I would have bet were Erik were in the Quick Board a few years back. Ah those were happier times. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/113530.html?1115969701#POST443654www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/26335 .html?1054256171#POST170286 |

I liked the good old days . . . there were less than 200 Buells in the world and Erik and I used to get on the internet every night and engage in some spirited discussions. . . We used the screenames of "Court Canfield" and "Erik Buell". . . those were the days. As good fortune would have it I had a habit of printing them out. Shooting my mouth off cost me 31 days of my life . . . but I got to be the first one to take a Buell to most the fun places in the United States. 37 States on one trip. . . someone else has probably done that by now. Great memories . .. |

I don't know about 37 states in 31 days, but the article in the new Fuell that came out today about the trio that did 11 countries and 13,000 miles in 81 days is pretty damn cool. It's neat to have followed them along since the first post at BWB about the start of the trip and the to get rewarded with a really great article in the Fuell. There's an article about Uke's thats great too, and Erik's column remembers the good old days too. |
