Just wondering if there is anything that can be done to make the V&H header shine like new again? Now it's getting kinda rough to touch about 1/2 way down all the way back to the can. If I can't get it shiny I think I will sand it and paint it black. |

If you are talking about the head pipe I have used Simichrome on my other bikes and that seems to do well....It does have a little abrasion to it, so it will smooth..careful though.. Just curious, how do you like the sound and performance of you pipe? I am looking for a new exhaust for my 2006 and it seems like the only one still making pipes for us thumpers is V&H... |

Ceramic coat the header and you won't have a rust problem (Performance Coatings $30) I know that Jardine and V&H have AL cans I prefer Jardine but V&H is easier to repack (you will need to repack it) |

Thanks Xgecko, I may see what i can find locally or go to exhaust shop and see what he can do for me in aluminum tubing plus my muffler guts r loose and rattle over bumps so i may end up replacing the pro-series. John |

I am very pleased with my Quiet Core Jardine. I bought it for the header to put on my WB but it's actually a very nice exhaust in its own right. If you not in a hurry order a Jardine and then ship the header off to get coated, it took about 2 weeks for performance coatings jethot may be more or less. |
