I'm getting ready to buy some bar end mirrors and seen there are a few different ones out there. Can you show me some of the ones you guys have put on your bikes. And what you think are the best ones. Can you also tell me how to get the XB9SX plugs on the end of the bars off without damaging them. Thanks

Well, not knowing if I would like bar end mirrors or not, I went and bought a pair of Third Eye mirrors for a grand total of $15.00.The things work GREAT. I will probably end up buying a set of CRGs, or that was the plan. Thinking that I would end up always bumping these and get sick of adjusting them, but I really havent had any problems that way so Ill just keep these on.

I just used a pair of pliers and pulled them out, rocking them back and forth. I put Rizoma reverso bar end mirrors on my CityX. I really like them and they are very functional, better then the stockers.

I'm running a set of Napolean bar end mirrors
Very nice, and they can "fold in" when pushing thru a doorway (not that I would know when staying at a hotel in Knoxville, TN;))

Here's the mirrors folded in.

I have Cat Eye Mirrors. You can get them at Bicycle shops for about 7 bucks. I think they are great.

I bought the cheap ones because I was unsure if I would like small mirrors down lower, but I love them and they work great. They have a slight concave to them as well which helps.

Went to a local bicycle shop and picked up mine for 12 bucks. The quality is outstanding and It works perfectly. I pulled out the plastic plugs with my hands.

I just put on a set of CRG bar end mirrors; inside my hand guards and without having to remove anything (2007 XB9SX). I did pull the hand guards off of the clip (on the bar end/outside), and pivot them forward to making tensioning the bracket easier. Five minute job and a very high quality mirror.

I used to hate these bar end mirrors, but they're starting to grow on me. Some of them look good.

No pics yet, but I had the Cat Eye mirrors for a time...only issue for me was vibration at speed and a distorted image, but good for the money. I spent the $100 or so for the CRG 2 inch mirrors and love them...stable, clear and they don't impose on my hands. Easy to install too.

I too use the third eye bar ends. They work great it still amazes me how well they work.

I like the Cat eye ones too Altima. Nice to have a choice.

Has anyone weighed the mirrors to see if there is a weight advantage over CRGs?

I got the CRGs at http://shopping.speedwerks.com/ Their website is under construction so you will need to call. I had my mirrors in three days.

I've got those same Napoleon mirrors as Toona. Got em from Americansportbike.com Love em. Great for interstate riding and you can move them all over the place!

I got my CRGs from Motosport outlet...I actually entered in an FZ as my bike because they try to tailor their database...and don't have Buells. I like Motosport from being a MX customer, but the service was quick and shipping free to boot.
