Hey Wayne, I know your an exhaust master. What'd you do with your Jardins? I have a spare lying around that I need to make louder without losing power. Any ideas? |

I took them apart and changed the packing. I also changed the length, just leave yours alone and try these, its what I would do. After trying different ones just run the one you like. (Message edited by 98s1lightning on May 15, 2007) |

I want my bike to be as loud as possible without losing power. I'd like to buy yours and make it into a daul chamber short stubby exhaust. I'm thinking so that you have an exhaust for each cylinder. so for now it would be a 2-into-1-into-2 until I can get new headers fabricated |

Can we see any pictures of what has been done? Or do they just look stock? |

They look stock except for the length of them. You know Shaiss, you got my mind thinking and if you cut them down to about 6 inches each and rotated them about 15 degrees oppisite of one another that would look and sound badass. To the garage batman................meanwhile back @ this innocent looking work shop.............&%$*@ "POOF" @#$% "POW"........"BANG"..........this is gonna be sweet. |

Ok, after tons of research and playdoe development I have came to the conclusion that the pipes in this configuration will be about 9" wide and the body length will be approx. 6" long. This all can be changed for fittment reasons. The only problem I foresee could be a hight problem, the height of the pipes will be in the area of 4 1/2"s but I think the stock pipe is close to that on the XB's. I checked and the height of a stock XB pipe is right @ 4 1/4"s so I guess width would be the main concern..........thinking back to a D&D......They too may be close to the 9" width so perhaps this could be an easy go..............back to the garage............ |
