Ive found little info here on the veypor digital speedo but have seen people looking for options and just wanted everyone to see this thing. Its pretty neat and is half the cost of some of the similar models. There are two models and the latest (VR2) adds more race tuning oriented displays. One of the neat things about it is it displays what gear you are in based on MPH and RPM. Obviously its not going to show a gear change when the clutch is in but at least it will on acceleration. I dont have the funds yet to afford it but if your currently in the market for one check it out and report back. http://www.veypor.com/features.html This is a short clip of an installation on a harley. Gives you an idea of what to expect. Looks pretty painless. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5717139089 126494029&q=veypor&hl=en |

Brian I have been looking at their heads up and telemetry set up, and maybe a dash replacement for a XB. (Message edited by bad_karma on May 05, 2007) |

Yea that HUD is very neat. I hadnt even considered it yet because of cost. Im mainly wanting a smaller tach and speedo unit for a cleaner look not to mention the cool factor of digital gauges. I'll probably get one within the next couple of months. |

I would rather have a larger tach and a dedicated speedometer. |

What a redundant piece of technical overkill, especially on a Harley. |

hes got a point,^^^ but i think that it is a nice piece if you got the money IMO Well it beats the motoscope light and a handful of others if your looking for an affordable digital gauge. Now when people like me search for this topic they'll see a cool option. |

The rolling resistence would be able to tell you if your tires were getting low, or bearings were going bad. I think it's pretty cool for the price. |

"This is a public comunity. So you will have to tolerate opinions that differ from yours." Okay... sometimes, you can really be insufferable, Ralph. |
