Small world. I did scope testing for FATS when I worked for Motorola. Heal up well Sanchez. Sorry to hear that. Hope you all are ok. Things are starting to simmer down a littl for me. Badness was the start of some well needed rest. I've been home with my kids for 2 weeks now and that has been fun. I'm ready to go back to work though. Duc - miss riding with you. |

Smoke, thanks for the info. A friend of mine used to work for them also. He worked in the refurb/repair shop I think. His name is Mike Wells.. don't know if you ever knew him or not. I was also going to check with him too. The job opening I saw was for an embeded programmer for their target control systems at the Suwanee location. Sounds like a cool job to have. I haven't done any embeded programming since I was in school, but I am sure I could pick it back up pretty easily. (Message edited by ratyson on April 25, 2007) |

FYI - new program on BadWeb - Pay It Forward, Gear & Parts Assistance. Please check it out. Pay It Forward is a forum of good will. The focus of Pay It Forward is to help BadWebbers that are in need of gear or parts. Most of us have spare parts or gear that are collecting dust or taking up room in the closet or garage. Why not share with your fellow BadWebbers. These items are not for sale, that’s what the classifieds are for. Those receiving items are responsible for shipping cost unless other arrangements are made between the two parties involved. You can post parts or gear you wish to offer and/or post your need of gear or parts. You may also send a PM to Ulywife or e-mail directly to ncgirl (at) earthlink (dot) net. Our main focus is good basic street gear for adult riders and their children who may ride with them. Parts are generally offered to those who have gone down and will help get their bike back on the road again with minimal out of pocket expense. The catch to Pay It Forward is just that, Pay It Forward when you can in the future. If you have received parts or gear and are no longer in need of said item, it should be passed to the next person as long as the item is still in good condition. These items should not be sold as it totally defeats the purpose of Pay It Forward. Currently the Pay It Forward project has three custodians: Molly_hatchet (Brian), Tx05xb12s (Philip) and Ulywife (Kristi). You can find the Pay It Forward thread in with the RAN. This will only allow registered BadWebbers to gain access to this forum. Remember, you must be signed in to view the RAN/Pay It Forward Section. We welcome any comments or suggestions and hope that this is just the beginning of Pay It Forward. Thanks to all who have played a part in making Pay It Forward a reality! |

What happened??? I'm probably getting it wrong (Don't know anything about the mechanics) but when I first got it we had problems with the "relay" (???) but now he says he thinks the "Stater" (???) went bad. When you try to start it it acts like the battery is dead but the lights and all are fine. He can sometimes start it by jacking the starter from an other battery source or like they did Sunday when we were stuck at the gas station, roll it down a BIG A$$ED HILL but then when you try and start it next time, acts like the battery is dead again. He said he thinks he can fix it but if not, he was going to give you a ringy-ding Chuckster. |

The SV isn't a switch thing, it's a charging issue. The battery is going dead, I replaced the regulator a while back when it was doing the same thing and seemed to fix it for a while, but now it's doing it again. I'm thinking Stator. I don't have any electrical test instruments though. I do have a spare stator. Now all I need is some time. |

I love shows at little venues like the masquerade!! Have yall heard of Otep?? Chick on vocals kicks azz. This other band named 2 cent, the drummer was the lead singer and he played the drums at speed metal pace like he was just waving his hand! Anyway my bro and I got freaking wasted, I am still a little buzzed this morning. We decided that $3.50 for a can of PBR was to much so we walked over to Kroger and bought beer to smuggle back in. On the way home we freakin' ran out of gas! Slight miscalculation on my part. Hell I aint done that in a while, felt good to get out. |

What's you timeline Russ? We need to have a "Welcome Back to Civilization" party! I have no idea. We both need to be gainfully employed before we can make the move, and we would need to sell our house. So, it could be a while. Melissa let her boss know that she would be willing to relocate with him to Atlanta. Now she is waiting for him to make his decision. And seeing how he and his wife just had a baby on Tuesday... it may be a while before he gets back to her on it. I have applied to 2 places in Atlanta so far. One was the MDS/FATs, the other was for an entry level .NET developer position. I am REALLY hoping this comes through for us!} |

How could it not? Since it's both of y'all wanting to, I can't see how it won't happen. Of course however, you do realize it won't happen as planned |

That is true. I was eluding to the hope that her current boss wants to bring her along. She really likes working for him. |

Just got a call from Mike. He's on his way back to my place with the Nugget's corpse. Cloud: frame is trashed Silver lining: tiger tank survived! If the motor's OK, I think I might rebuild it on an S1 frame. |

Thanks Sanchez, I will check them out. Is that where you are working? I know one thing... IBM and Scientific Atlanta both have a boatload of openings right now... I just don't know if I want to work for either one. I know quite a few people who used to work for IBM, and they don't seem to have a lot of good things to say about the experience. |

If the motor's OK, I think I might rebuild it on an S1 frame. With rear sets to put the pegs up a little higher I hope. Mike Called me on accident and told me the news. I could always weld it back for ya! |

> FYI - new program on BadWeb - Pay It Forward, Gear & Parts Assistance. Please check it out. Kristi, that's an awesome idea. Every time someone walks up and asks about my Buell, I tell them that Buell People are the best thing about owning one. This is a perfect example. |
