Is the idle adjustment achieved by using the same adjusting screw that is used for TPS reset? This seems counter intuitive since I just used it to set the TPS to a value of 5.1. Doesn't messing with it after setting the TPS compromise the previous settings? I'm cornfused??? Help! |

That screw is the idle adjustment screw. The zero-ing is digital. you turn down the screw until the throttle butterfly is closed and then tell the computer to read that as being zero. Then after that is done, you can adjust the screw to whatever idle speed you like. I hope that makes sense. |

Thanks Nate. I'll try it tomorrow. Unfortunately the repeated start attempts drained my battery. Hopefully the trickle charger will work overnight. |

Trickle didn't work so I jumped the Uly off my FJ. Made the adjustment to the idle and I am good to go. Thanks again! |
