Two questions about some parts I saw on ebay: 1) Will the exhaust header from an 03 xb9r fit a 05 xb12s? 2)There is a set of black wheels selling for $680 (plus $50 shipping) is this a good price or should I keep shopping? Thanks for the input. |

I think it would fit. I have 12 headers on my 9. Why would you want a smaller header on a 12? |

The wheels go for $336 each from the dealer, per the Buell website. $680 plus shipping is higher than retail. Of course, you'll have to spend more to put your rotors & pulley on, but with an E-bay purchase, there's no telling what all you might have to do to them. |

The header will "work/fit" but the XB9 and XB12 are a different diameter pipes so you'd be limiting/restricting your XB12 if you put the XB9 header on it. |

Gjm, I just bought a New/Nearly new set with brand new race rubber for $511 plus shipping. Chad Hargis bought a set with 50% rubber Stradas for $400 (he stole them). The black wheels on ebay have been listed twice already. The guy is on crack. No one is biting at his price. What is weird is that individual wheels go for more than sets. You'd think just the opposite. You will just need to watch ebay if you are looking for wheels. There has been a dearth of wheels lately. Chad bought his and there was another set of Amber Translucent wheels besides the set I bought that came through. There hasn't been anything good since then. You might want to contact the seller and explain that his price is over retail and that you know it has been listed previous with no takers and make him an offer. There was a guy listing a used rear brake rotor with a buy it now price of $50 and a "make me an offer" auction. He turned me down on my $28 offer. I emailed him and told him that those usually go for $43.28 retail for new. He dropped his Buy it now to $40. The auction ended with no buyers and he relisted it with a $30 Buy it Now. I think there are a lot of great deals on ebay. There are also a lot of crap deals as well. The best bet is to watch the market and get a feel for what a reasonable price is. |

Thanks for the input guys. I was looking for a bargain but I think I will just go to a dealer for the parts. |
