Are all XB clusters interchangeable ? xb9 and 12 ? s and R models ?

A new one is $276 and I'm trying to save a buck by buying a used one on ebay but I see none for the xb12s but I see a few for the other XB buells.

the 9's redline at 7500, and the 12's at 6800. so the tack will not be exactly right

But everything else is fine ? Do the R and the S model bolt in the same way ?

yep same bolt pattern and some harness plug
