I wish I were rich. I'd buy it and all the left over XB parts and restore it back to an XB. If I were really filthy rich I'd open an XB custom rescue shelter |

Quote: "MAybe the reserve is 500.00 got to be worth that for the wheels and front end????" Re- read the description. You dont get the wheels, engine, or the front end. |

"We had this project at the last big swap meet in Denver, and it turned heads like nothing else we've ever built. It got more attention than the $60,000 custom bikes all around us." I think they may have confused admiration for horror! From the description, sounds like it'll be a bunch of frame PIECES that you have to weld together yourself. "This is not a bolt-together kit. It will require an experienced builder and fabricator to complete." No engine, no wheels, no nuthin' but a pile of frame bits. I wouldn't give the $100 starting bid for it. I think maybe someone should clue them in to Fuller HotRods and the Fueller frame, which is sexier, much more refined, and goes for $3k pre-assembled. ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on March 12, 2007) |
