I should say that certainly is one very nasty looking motorcycle, for sure. I like nasty in a street fighting motorcycle. Tell more. What kind of wheels are you running? Dare I ask how it handles? |

I wonder how it corners now. Do tell, hows it in the twisties? What kind of body work is that? What kind of forks are those? Looks kinda like a short wide KTM. Details man! We need details! |

is that a 'fork cover' on that orange and white bike? it looks like stock forks with a 'tube' over them. looks good though. |

Comeauzee... That is sick! Nicely done. Is that bodywork a one off? Where did the headlight assembly come from? |

Check this place out. These guys in the UK have a shop that they make all the custom parts for this bike. And no there not fork covers these are custom forks. www.fight-machines.com enjoy. |

While a nice looking show bike, it looks to be at it's limit in this picture. Very nice details, and the fit and finish are top notch. Just not for me, I'd end up taking it past it's limits too quickly, ending up in a wad by one of my favorite turns. |

Here is my bike as it stands right now. a few new mods have been added to the XB. Hopping to get it finished before MBIV. * Front Forks have been fully rebuilt w/ new springs/valves etc..and made for my weight. * Rear Spring came from Gentleman_jon and was also rebuilt w/ valves/spring for my weight (were the same weight) and it has just got serviced also. * LSL Steering Damper * Free Spirits extra trail kit"(interesting to see how it handles with this..good or bad) * Saintly's Chain Kit * Nitrous kit (10-20 hp shot) * Nitrous purge kit...purge Nitrous out the passenger gun pegs.(pretty trick)
Going to get Nitrous lines/fittings needed in the morning as I just figured out how I was going to plumb it all nice and neatly, and the New Headers will get installed as soon as I wrap them w/ header wrap and paint them with some DEI header paint... I still have a few mods to make and hopefully will be finished shortly.... Dang winter is more expensive than the summer!!!! |

so are you going to run an extra fuel pump or just feed off of the stock one? or are you doing a dry shot? |

From what i have figured out, and correct me if i am wrong, the stock pump should be good for what i need. Just going to "T" off the fuel line. It will be a "wet" system, dry = problems in most cases... Will also install a few "protection" items also like low fuell shut off,rpm safety sw., may even go with a nitrous "mastermind" if I like it enough. I've run nitrous in a couple of my vehicles but never on a bike, I am sure 20 hp is plenty with a bike. May start with 10hp shot and work my way up. I have some Dyno time comming up and will get it dynoed on the bottle so I know where i stand for a/f values. My direct link needs some fine tunning also so may just do it all at once. |

I'm sure you checked this but wanted to throw it out there just in case. Do you have enough clearance between the bottles and the tail? From the photos it looks like you only have a few inches without loading. I wouldn't want to see you hit a bump and blast off into space. Also, those pistol pegs are gangsta! I dig the look. |

it should be sufficiant. i have an extra pump running at the moment, but am thinking about taking it back out again and redoing some things. i would have advised you to stay away from the dry anyway. id start with a small shot first and see how that 10 horse works for you. 50 horse is a killer, trust me doubt you want to run that much through it. 20 is a good shot |

Firebolteric_ma that is the tackiest looking pegs I have ever seen. I can't believe anyone would try to make an awesome bike look like shit. I guess to each there own, but I didn't think there were any Buell owner's with that bad of taste. |

I didn't think there were any Buell owner's with that bad of taste I personally didn't care for the bike that you posted at all! I think it looks like a steamroller with those assinine fat tires, but everyone has different tastes. Most people will compliment what they like, and bite their tongue(keyboard) about what they don't. It's sad that you chose to tear down a person for having a different style than your own. |

There's a difference between style and tacky toy gun trinkets, defacing a perfectly good bike. But thanks for your 2 cents Saintly. |

i always thought it was very easy to tell someone you really didnt care for something in a polite way without being a complete ass. i guess i must just have a little more tact? |

Come, I concur with Saintly. Your ride or let me say the picture of the bike you posted (doubt you own it) looks like a piece of S..t to me. How can anyone in their right mind take a perfectly good cornering machine and turn it into something that would be unrideable in the twisties? That to me is bad taste. |

ATTENTION this has been a great thread thus far. lets not let opinions on purely subjective matters screw this one up. i would not personally have gun trinkets, NOS bottles or fat tires on my Buell. the keyword in the previous sentence is rooted in person. and this person feels it in bad taste to make negative comments about another persons taste or lack there of. oh...the irony. |

Coneauzee, I think Saintly said what he did about your bike so you could get alittle taste of your own medicine in a sense but with class. Do us a favor and keep your tacky personality to yourself. Eric is expressing himself how he wants his bike. Not for you or anyone else. Jason I think your bike looks great if I didn't I either didn't bother to comment because I didn't see it in the thread or because I keep my negative opinions to myself so I, 1.) Don't hurt someones feeling's of there pride.2.)or start a small war in some elses thread where it doesn't belong in which I started this thread and get OUT if you have nothing nice to say please. |
