I am adding the "FireBolt" front fairing, top clamp and handle bars to My "Lightning" Only a few minor snags so far. I had to order a FireBolt ignition switch, The Lightning switch is way to long. So many parts are inner-changeable I am surprised there are two different switches. The "FireBolt" Headlights also do not plug into my Harness, So I am cutting the plug off my "Lightning" headlights and hardwiring onto my new "Firebolt" headlights, So they will plug in..No big deal. So far all other wires and cables are working. I sent My seat cowl out to be painted (black), and I bought a "Zero Gravity Double Bubble (light smoke)wind screen" I would have bought the firebolt, But couldn't live with the White or blue color. So now I will have a Black and Silver XB9S/R

Any plans for the left-over Lightning parts? I could use them for spares if they're available. I've been thinking about adding the R tail section to my S, & now that the plastic comes in black from Buell, it looks like I'll be doing it soon. Don't forget to post a photo of the painted cowl & front end conversion when it's done. |

I posted on the egroups forum that I wanted a XB9ST. Well, I could settle for a S (rear) + R front but S handlebars. what's the fairing swap entail? |
