I have a stock 12S muffler. I also have a stock 12r seat and passenger pegs w/ the brackets. I have no idea what any of it would be worth. |

Hey guys, I'm looking to sell my XB9SX. It's a 2005, bought it in January of 2006, brand new. Oil changed at 500, 1000, and every thousand after. Never dropped, never seen red RPMs. 4500 miles. Anyway, I'm looking to get $5500 to $6000 for it. If anyone here is interested, or knows anyone interested, please give me a call, I really want to sell my motorcycle. Ike at 480.262.0484 Thanks |

Hey all "AZ Desert Thunder Bikers", Activity here warrants moving your listing on the main Storm Fronts page to the top with the other more active groups. Just a heads-up notice so you don't think your board got deleted. Will add the capability to start new threads too. If you'd like anything (information, web content, whatever) added to the top of this main page, just let me know. Thank you. Your humble servant and BadWeB custodian, Blake |

Actually, would it be okay if I just merged this group into the "Arizona Buellers" one, which is already up top in the listings? Thanks, Blake |

We spun off from Az buellers, both got a little less active lately, so you might as well put us back with AZ buellers where there is a lot more history. |

So, I just spent two weeks in Phoenix for work. They are putting me up in an apartment next to work. People are telling me it gets so hot that you can't ride a motorcycle during the day for most of the summer. Are these people serious or are they just wimps? What is up with this. I hear it gets into the 100's by the end of April and can stay that way until September. I expected that in July and August. Last week was 90's for three days which was record breaking heat. They say this summer is record breaking heat predicted. Anyone tell me. Do you really have to wait until after 9 pm to ride. What is up with this? Anyone? Charlotte

They are wimps, the heat never stopped me. Course the road stopped me, but that is a different story :-D |

Whatever- Welcome to the Sonoran desert. I live 100 miles south of Phoenix in Tucson. Anything you have heard about how hot it gets in Phoenix is true! Seriously though, 100+ deg. from April-Sept. is normal,June-Aug. is when it gets really hot though. The misleading thing about the temp. that you get from the weather report is it does not take into account the intensity of the sun. If the official temp. is 105, the actual temp in the sun is more like 130-135. the bad thing about Phoenix is all of the concrete retains heat, so the city itself does not cool down the way it does in the desert. It is quite common for the temp to be around 100 at midnight during the summer. The best time to play is early morning,by 9:00 or 10:00 am it is starting to warm up. How much you can do during the day depends on how well your body copes with the heat, some people handle it better than others. Don't over-do it, and make sure you stay hydrated. One other thing to consider is pavement temp,it gets up around 165 deg., a real torture test for your tires(and engine). Take it easy during the hot part of the day. The Sonoran desert is a place of surreal beauty, and great places to explore and play. The price of admission is HOT summers. You do get used to it, and if you need a break you can always head for the hills for some cooler temps. A Camelback is a good investment while you are out exploring . . . you can never have too much water. Have fun, respect the great glowing orb, and enjoy your new home. btw-you can ride year-round! |

Hello all. I am new to this forum and am still trying to figure it out. I just wanted to put my two cents in on the heat as well. I ride year round and ride everyday to and from work. I have not once parked the bike because of it being 117 out. Went for an early ride at 5 and back home by 10. I live in queen creek and would like to meet up with any other local buellers sometime and go for a ride. |

Hey 1 fstryd, I also live in Queen Creek and am up for ridin. I dont see many buells here and there doesnt seem to be much activity on this board so I was starting to wonder where all the Buellers in AZ are! It would be cool to get a big group rider together before it gets too much hotter |

Did all the Buellers in AZ disappear or what?? I Know it's been a long time since I have posted. Been real busy, moving, retiring from the Corps. looking for work, etc... Anyway, just wondering is there going to be a Springfast this year or what?? I'm living up in Lakeside now, next to Show Low, which makes it nice if we are meeting in Show Low. A few riders have given up on the buell and turned japanese. The Southwestrides.com forum is a good place to go for local rides. It's not make specific so all are welcome. |

I just moved to PHX. Took a break from looking for a job and rode down to Mt. Lemmon the middle of last week. There were a few wet corners at the top, with a touch of snow on the sides in the shade. It was a nice first ride in my new home state. |

Not too many Buellers getting together here in Phoenix. most post on the other AZ thread. This thread was for the old Phoenix BRAG group, which pretty much went to the four winds. The weather is nice enough for riding now!!! |

Does that statement mean PHX has very little Bueller's or do they not gather any longer? |
