hey, sorry to drop off... work really picked up and the print shops started ignoring me. guess a $2K+ job isn't enough for them to deal with. one shop was cool but they're so inflexible i was getting fed up with the process. i was all set if i wanted a single design and LOTS of 'em but i want variation available. so i started investigating other methods which would allow me to do small runs and also custom faces for slightly higher fee. added design time basically. it requires me to purchase some hardware but screw it. i'd like to bring it all in-house. the latest update is that i've got two new materials arriving tomorrow to do some testing with and UV resistant inks arriving next week. i'm hoping to have a new test gauge built by end of week or on the weekend. i'd like to take shots in the daylight and night to see how things pan out. i'm still dying to get my hands on a final too!  hopefully will have good news for you guys by the weekend.
