I have searched and searched, but cannot find the web address for Odie's heat blankets. Appreciate a push in the right direction.
Thanks

i've got both sides, the seat and the airbox and it's a big difference. once i replaced the low '06 seat with the '07, i didn't really need the seat one as much, but still plan to throw it in there in the summer.
single best mod there is!

Thanks all. What a BIG help, This time of year it is nice to have a 'hot' seat, but come the summer in SoCal, a little less heat will be nice.

I like it. Odie is a very good guy. I wished it blocked more heat. I expected tremendous improvement. I got a reduction from full on "a$$-b-que" to slow smoker.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

It is far better than nothing at all. I would buy it again.

FINALLY.......an explanation for the smoke trail that follows you.....I knew it wasn't the bike!!!!

Black smoke that smells like over-cooked Ftbstrd........ application of a little barbecue sauce would have helped.

Sorry, there is no need to bring out the pics.

It's because you are using that low cut seat. Another thing I've noticed is that when I stop, I flare my feet out to make a wide base. Most people who aren't built like a Sasquache, as I am, can barely touch with their feet straight down, much less sticking out a foot on each side.

Because of this, I don't feel any heat off the bike.

Chad, I think you're probably right. I'm thinking of trying the 07 seat. We'll see what happens with that.

I don't really mind the heat. I rode most of last summer in the 'Stitch. When it's 102*, everything is roasting.

I was just expecting to go from some heat to no heat. I think my expectations are incorrect regardless of the seat.

Where's the blanket that makes my seat even hotter? It's below freezing out there!

Seriously though, Odie makes a quality product and happens to be a great guy to boot. He's especially handy when you've just scraped your shift linkage off at the track and need some tools to drill out the sheared off bolts. : )

Where the hell was he when my linkage disincorporated on Devils Elbow?

I wouldn't have had to ride 200 miles in fifth gear.
