These were my first choice http://www.britnett-carver.co.uk/trojanhorse/prods /213.html These have a wider field of vision http://www.britnett-carver.co.uk/trojanhorse/prods /145.html these look pretty good also http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Bar_E nd_Mirrors.html After checking reviews I just ordered the Oberon 75mm adjustable convex mirrors - http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/adjus table-bar-end-mirror-3.html they seem to stop alot of vibration & the feedback seem to be quite favourable. Although - the rizoma look pretty darn good - I don't see any feedback on them around the net or this forum ... so 3 choices here - anyone chime in or point me to the feedback / reviews - that would be great. Cheers |

I sure like the Rizoma retros, but wonder if they shorten the grip, nice and clean and don't stick out too much for parking in tight places. |

I was very pleased with the build quality of my Rizoma 851s. |

I have Oberon's sitting on the shelf that I took off to install Rizomas. The Oberon's are too small in my opinion. Look great, but not enough field of view for my liking. Keep Your Kness to the Breeze! Kevin |

I sure like the Rizoma retros, but wonder if they shorten the grip, nice and clean and don't stick out too much for parking in tight places. The Rizoma bar end mirrors attach to a knob that you insert into the end of the handlebar. It extends the length of the handlebar and doesn't end up affecting the grips at all. |

I can vouch for the Rizoma Reverse Billet Aluminium Bar End Mirrors. They are very well made and DO NOT VIBRATE AT ALL. It is a huge difference for sure. I am sure all there mirrors are of the same quality and will not disapoint. I run the Rizoma stuff and it is all top quality for sure. Check profile for a pic.. |

Yep - I ordered the same as the oval ones apart from ther'er round. The oval ones come with flat glass & the round ones come convex glass - in the link above they show the clamp version which allows you to put those indicator bar ends on. |

I was looking at the Rizoma retro classics, they're sharp but cost about $300 for the whole setup, which I wouldn't mind spending if I knew I was never going to drop my bike again. |

so which mirrors did you get Rasmonis ? If you go for cheap ones - the glass will be bad right ? also you have to get heavy bar ends to stop vibration ? |

Can't speak to the bad glass. I have the Rizoma retros and what a fantatic mirror. I used the rizoma bar ends to mount them and they are great. They do not vibrate excessively, I got them to see around my winter gear. You get what you pay for. |

Moondust: I've got the "Rizoma Billet Class Retro Bar End Mirrors" and the matching Rizoma Bar Ends mounted on my Sportster. I really like them. Very solid construction, great visibility and they look pretty cool too. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about them. |

I'll ditto what Chainsaw has said. But why did you order the Oberon's, and then ask for reviews? |

But why did you order the Oberon's, and then ask for reviews? When I posted first - not much feedback - then investigated the archives & the net for feedback. I found the Oberons quite popular - so I ordered with a reservations - as Im off work at the mo. The delivery time was not for a few weeks - as they had no stock - so I guess I had more time to come back here & get more opinions. I still have time to cancel my oberon order but even with the Rizoma retro - they haven't got stock for awhile either - so the oberons seemed the obvious choice. Im still interested in the feedback - as you never know - maybe the oberons will "fall off" as it said in one online review http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-bar-end-mirrors/ (Message edited by moondust on February 07, 2007) |
