Just wanted to throw a plug out there for DARK HORSE MOTO. I ordered a full set of sliders from keith to include the racing rears the passenger peg replacments and the front forks. I was very impressed with the customer service and follow up. and even more so impressed with the quality and how well packaged the sliders where. Took me all of 10 minutes to put them all on, and they look killer. To me the desicion was an easy one to make..best option out there right now in my opinion. |

No doubt, Keith is a stand up guy, and the sliders are great. My only hope is I never have to test them! |

Gosh guys... I don't know what to say... thank you. Thanks to the fine people and fine sponsors of BadWeB, DarkHorse has been very successful. Now that we have moved, we hope to have several new products completed and tested soon that have been on the drawing board (make that CAD screen) for a while. Thank you all again for your continued support. Keith |

Any plans for slider in Derlin? |

Yes... maybe. We have two designs that we plan to test soon using alternate materials including Acetal Delrin. Aside from crashing, proof testing sliders is not an easy thing to do. Keith |

Any plans for a frame slider? We would love to but at present, there are no provisions to mount one. I understand that there are some available but the mounting bracket requires welding them on and then reapplying the liner inside the gas tank (frame). This requires a major disassembly of the bike, more than most of us want to do. Keith |

I used some vortex replacement sliders for there frame sliders. They fit awesome in the front and rear axles. Just ran a piece of all thread through. Just my 2 cents. Only about $14 a piece |

Yup, DHM sliders rock! And they're pretty! As far as frame sliders go, it would be HARD to beat the Buell frame pucks. They've saved my bike twice! I like the fact they're semi-squishy, too... extra impact absorption. And they're cheap! ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on February 06, 2007) |

Now that we have moved... So it's finally over. Congrats! I guess all that's left is the settling part. |

I have a set of DHM sliders on my bike too. They're good looking and I'm betting they do their job just fine. Thanks for building them. |

Hey Philip - I see you are from The Republic (of Texas) too! Thanks! Hey Glitch - I hope I never have to move again. Ever. We are slowly getting unpacked and settled. I guess there will always be a few unpacked boxes in the corner of the garage? |

No Firebolt shirt. Nope, that's a picture of Keith on his Lightning someone took during a race. I hope I never have to move again. Ever. Me either! I guess there will always be a few unpacked boxes in the corner of the garage? I'm guilty. Maybe this Summer some time I'll get rid of some stuff. If it's still there and untouched, that means it's been there for a year and no one will miss it. |

Ive seen these sliders as well as heard good things about them so far. Would some DHM sliders front and back along with some frame sliders save a buell (mostly the frame) from any damage scratches in a drop or crash? -Cale |

along with some frame sliders The Buell issued Frame Pucks have born out to better than the bolt on frame sliders (at least one of which was found to actually cause damage in a crash) |

Big props to DHM frame sliders. Not only do they look great (A+) but having the rears with the spool slot allows simple lifting with a rear stand. Those slots make the bike feel rock solid when in the air. Very impressed by the craftsmanship and beauty of those things. Secondly, over the weekend I completed my Ss tail conversion with a DHM cheesegrater eliminator license plate kit. Very detailed instructions were provided and Keith emailed several (helpful) pictures to help with the alteration to the tail and installation of the kit. Try to get this kind of customer satisfaction elsewhere! Take your time and follow Keith's instructions and it's a job anyone with some common sense, attention to detail, and basic mechanical abilities can accomplish. Stop sending your S and Ss tails out to have someone else do the conversion for you. Save yourself some money and order a DHM kit and do it yourself. Hell, if your able to ride a motorcycle, you should be able to (and not afraid to) work on the thing! Great products Keith - I look forward to what you have in the works! Keep the brotherhood posted! Thanks from a grateful customer, Scott |

Keith, I'm currently in the process of color matching the bobbed tail section and under seat side rails to match the graphite grey of the frame. Once painting is complete, ass end is reassembled, and everything is shined back up, I'll post some photos. Thanks again, Scott |
