Last reminder......the Windy City Chapter Starved Rock Brunch Run is scheduled for this Sunday, May 18. Meet at IL-HD @ 8:00AM, plan on departing at 8:30AM (sharp). Brunch reservations are at 12 noon. Weather forecast (for now) is dry, partly cloudy, lower 70's temperature.

Anyone and everyone is welcome. Route maps will be handed out at IL-HD Sunday morning when we meet. The ride there via back roads will take every bit of 3 hours to reach Starved Rock, so we will leave at 8:30am. I drove the route yesterday in my car to verify map, check for road hazards and establish some reference points in the twisties. There are several challenging pieces of road along the way that should keep things interesting (especially for those that choose to ride it hard). Should be fun.

Sorry I couldn't make the Sunday Starved Rock Ride with you guys. My dad is selling his bike at the end of the month and I wanted to do 1 last ride with him before it was gone. We did go down to Starved Rock for a burger at Duffy's Tavern.

Holy crap were there a ton of cops out! What I want to know was who got the ticket from the club?

Sorry we missed you during our Sunday run, it was fun. Police and speed traps weren't a problem because our planned route took secondary back roads to minimize the traffic and up the fun factor.

Some pictures will be posted later this week, although we didn't get any road or riding pictures. I'd be willing to run this route again if there is interest.

That bikini bike wash looks interesting....

I'd love to go for a ride this weekend.....but can't. If you do go up to Sauk area, scope out some route specifics so you can lead the next group ride. I know there are many who would ride up there for the day (or two) if we planned it ahead of time.

I am going to attempt posting last Sundays ride pictures in about 15 minutes. Wish me luck.

I got my scooter fixed. I picked up the part last week and installed it about an hour before I went on the Starved Rock ride. I need to get the TPS zero's out though. Otherwise it's running good.

6/1 is a deal. Let's meet at the HH, pull out at about 8:30? I want to see if I can make it wo Sauk Prarie somtime.

Bomber, that route we took up last time was pretty cool. I don't have to pretend to be lost, I usually am. I have to start learning how to ride without Merriwether Lewis and McGyver!

Chi - If your a commin, you can hang out at my crib. I'll be at Blues fest on saturday, should we bother Biking there???
