I agree. That will soon be resolved. It was done originally to maintain an organized listing, like in the KV and Storm Fronts topics. |

Maybe I really am a D-bag but I didn't get any message when I logged in that someone had sent me a message. I assumed (yeah I know the saying) that since there were no replies relating to my last post that no one wanted to go for a ride in my area. When I checked my hotmail account that night after the ride I had in fact recieved a message from another rider in my area. I felt like a total douchebag for standing the guy up. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a seperate section to go for an inbox of sorts? I am used to Buelletinboard.com and dcsportbikes.com where there is a section on the top of the page that tells you are logged in and if you have messages or not. Any help would be great I want to make friends here not become Mr. Unreliable. Oh and from now on I will always check my actual email not just the forum. |

Your e-mail is where any PM's will be received. Unless someone post and tells you that they sent you a PM, you won't know it from here. The e-mail message will come through from BadWeb, private message from BadWeb Username.....you're not the first one to miss PMs because of not realizing how to get the messages. |

Bullseye, If you want people to reply direct to you you can put your email in your post here if you do it in a way it does not get screened out by the software. Like my email address would be: jacker at midmaine dot com Most people can figure that out easy enough. I don't know if it has been suggested to Blake before or not but I'm cool with letting BadWeb members email directly with a link shows them what my email address is as long as they include their email address in the email. I don't try to hide my email address from anyone except as above (that, in theory, will defeat the email address collecting robots used by the spam slingers). Jack I |

How about an equipment reviews and ratings. It would be nice to have a page where I could select a helmet, jackets, headsets, mufflers, etc., and be able to see how other badwebbers who have used the same equipment thought about it. Instead of posting a thread asking what people thought about a certain helmet, and of course wait several days for some input. I could just go to the review page select the helmet I am interested in and voila I have instant input about what others thought. Some input suggestions would be on a 1-5 scale and include: Cost, comfort, easy of installation (user friendly), reliability, effectiveness, etc. Some fill in the blanks could be: Purchased from, Cost, further opinion, etc. Would be nice. |

The e-mail is your PM. If you read further down the e-mail, you should find your message. |

I don't follow what you are saying. I just ran a search for "Corbin seat" (no quotes) for the past 30 days and got 25 results. See the following. I think I may know what is happening. Do not click in or enter anything into the "Username" or "Password" fields, as doing so will activate the "Messages since I last searched for new messages" or "Registered users" option. You do not need to enter your username or password except when using the "Registered users"/"...new messages" option. If you do click in the password field, simply click/select the "Recent Posts" option to clear it. That got it? |

Blake, I just love your site. It's the best forum for Buells on the whole web. As suggestion I thought of an possibility to "forward" or "predestinate" an new message. What I mean is; you post something in your primary topic (XBoard) but indicate that is about -Knowledge vault ore pict ore .. then after 2 weeks ore when you archive the messages, the post is redirected (with all reactions) to the pre-indicated topic. This way the post arrives where they need to be, and users don't need to bother with "shall I post this where the most readers are" -and maybe a spell checker like on the UK-Buell forum. Keep on doing the good work. |

This is not so much a suggestion, but I think this is probably the best place for this. I've found that many posts that are supposed to contain images just show a 1x2 pixel white gif in its place. This is not the case with ALL of the images, just ones posted by certain users. Is this the result of those images actually residing somewhere like photobucket and my company's firewall just blocking them? |

I have a thought...suggestion.... whatever it may be... Since there seems to be a large number of us Buell riders that enjoy this site, has anyone ever thought to make a decal out of the BADWEB logo and se if members would want to buy it to proudly display? |

That last thing you said. Click on "Search" at the top or bottom of the page, then enter your username in the in the "Search for" field and in the "Look in" field select "Names of authors". Click "Perform search. Accessing your user profile will reveal links to your most recent posts. |
