have a customer, I am trying to help out, and as usual, Harley is no help(3 week wait to look at it)...

here is the problem..

2006 XB9SX, with 2700 miles.

The front cylinder is miss firing, period, I know this for a fact. Check the plug wire, it APPEARS to be on there snug...

The throttle body is REAL ratchety... but I dont feel that this is the problem...

Anyway, I am not very familiar with the XB platform, so I am asking for a little help here. I currently am at home, but leaving in 5 minutes..

If anyone has had a similar issue, PLEASE, gimme a call, and help me out, otherwise I will be tearing into the wiring harness...BUT, I think its simpler, its obviously either fuel or ignition, BUT, with only 2700 miles, something else could be the issue...

Anyway, contact me please... ASAP...

757-406-3485

Thank ya'll.... for some reason, this frustrates me...

It might be a fouled spark plug. Try replacing the plug and see if the problem goes away.

I am having a helluva time GETTING to the plug, but, i am gonna check it once I get there...

BUT, apparently, it was running, put up for the night, and fired up, with the miss fire...

So, thank you, and, any other suggestions?

You get it? I would call but I dont know if it is too late. Sparkplug is prolly the reason.
