SPORT BIKE NORTHWEST August 23-26, and a hang over for the Dual sport ULY's Aug 27-30. Had a small group leave from the shop last year. Looking for a larger participation to show up the Ducs and Umphs. Working on getting a Demo Truck there as well. Will leave from the shop on the 22, full ride blast down the 101 and cross over to hug the Columbia into Stephenson. Book your vacation now, bring your tents. Will post some pics from last year |

International Motorcycle Show in Vancouver Jan. 25th - 28th. Who's going? Who's Comming? I'm flexable on date and time. Lets make some plans. Some people are like slinkies, basically useless but they still make me smile when i push them down the stairs. |

Don, Lorraine, you want my Ducati ST3? Nice 2 up ride. Plenty of luggage space. Try one on for size at the show. |

Shotgun I've been doing a little research for you since your pervious post would suggest that you are looking for a new ride. This one is about 60% lighter than your Duc and should turn on a dime.
Cheers FunJimmy |

Holy Shister! What cutie. I would like to sell the ST3 and have enough $$$ to get a used road ride plus a dirt bike or would consider trades for same. Our new place has miles of forest roads to explore. I don't see myself doing big touring trips since I haven't convinced the MRS to ride with me again since the last time I took her into the ditch about 6 years ago. Since we are retiring together, I want our lives in sinc. Have I told you how wonderful the hottub is at 4PM or so when you are tired from your day and have a drink in your hand and the world is warm and fuzzy and bubbly and you can look up at the sky and think about all the poor schnooks still at work? Yeah, and getting up not with the fucxxing alarm clock but with the sound of the local train tooting as it crosses the road 11 times in 7 miles around 7:30 AM plus or minus an hour? And being able to walk out the door into the woods and walk for hours without seeing or hearing another soul? Or being able to feel comfortable raising "herbs" from seeds in your own greenhouse with nobody around to see or care or interfere? Ya baby. Y'all got to get your retirement plan in gear!!!! Now just got to sell my house in Portland. Somebody buy Gina, okay? |

Bobby, I would make you such of a deal. I paid $12000 for her, added $2000 or so in mods, she has less than 9000 miles on her and I would like to get $9000 for her. If she's around in the spring, I'll probably advertise her a little higher, in that the average retail for a 2005 ST3 used is about $10,400. She's better than average, but I want to be realistic, I aint the Ducati store. She is still on factory warrenty til August 2007, though I have had nothing go wrong with her, and even at her 6600 miles service and valve check, she had not moved even a thousandth of an inch from spec. She pulls an honest 100 rwhp on the dyno with an awesome ramp up to redline and a nice torque line. |

Loni, I think it's the 10th. I have joined the exclusive ranks of the Grand and Anchiet Order of the Squrill Chaser! Kim, I now know what you were up against. I was out with the boy riding the old mountian bike, when I first saw the enemy. About 15 ft. ahead he was pretending not to notice me as he formulated a plan to destroy me. Hopeing for a pre-emptive strike, I shout 'get the squrill' and pedal toward him. He is standing next to a tree, and I think the little basturd would run up it. But NOOOOO The little freak runs straight ahead, a little streak about 3 in. from death by my front tire, Now I'll let it be known that I had no real designs on this creatures life, yet. I grab all the breaks I had at my disposal and both wheels lock and I'm feeling pretty cool 'cause I'm still upright. I look down and I AM going to squish furry runner in a mater of 10ths of a second. Last chance for the little enemy was a full 90 degree turn of the front wheel. This causes me to go into a very short free fall, over the handlebars and onto my rt.side, head / shoulder. My kid thinks I'm dead. The little protaganist of course had leapt to the tree at the last possibe instant, rendering my sacrifice null and void. sheesh Insult to injury consisted of said minion of the forest sitting on a branch LAUGHING at his handy work with me in the mud. I only wish it had been video'd, cause it would have won me a staring role on the next Jack Ass release, at the least. So my friends, watch out for thoes furry little skid marks. Yes, watch out indeed. sooner, Galen |

Happy Birthday to Mike and Matt - or actually Matt came first so that is Happy Birthday Matt and Mike - I love you! Kimberlie |

Hi Bob and Deb, more home improvments eh? we still have to do our kitchen floor and mouldings. We went to the bike show and Lorraine really likes the Kawasaki Ninja 650r , it fits her and I think a lower seat is available. |

Lo & Don Sportyeric just stopped by for a pint and brought with him his previously read Cycle World magazines. The August 2006 issue has a comparison review featuring the Kawasaki Ninga 650R. Have you read it yet? If you want the copy I have just let me know. I think it would be a great scoot for you, Lo. Go girl! Got the engine back in the S1 tonight. Things are starting to come together. Thanks Eric. Bob. Nice piece of tail. Soooo....tight. Cheers FunJimmy (Message edited by funjimmy on February 07, 2007) |

Welcome Tim. Check The Splash thread in Storm Fronts and the Border Raid Thread. Those are the two Main group rides but we ride all the time. Deb and I are also in Tacoma as are a few more. We are a blend of Oregon, Washington and Canada. We are all great friends with a passion for anything on two wheels. More than a few of us have morfed over to different brands but continue to ride and enjoy each other.
As you can see, I am the most handsom feller in the group. Bob |
