Ghalsey, the plate will be mounted to the underside of the tail. the bike isn't registered for the season yet so no plate to finish the location. signal bracket needs a few cuts and paint then both will go on. |

the 'lay-down' thing? me compfuse if you mean flat on the underside of the tail like you've seen other members do... yup. i used to have a Hillbilly-Motors bracket that stuck out like a mini fender, not into that anymore. i love the tail pointing to the sky, uninterrupted. |

It is also a $75 ticket for improper mounting of registration information. I got a ticket for it on a friends' bike that had it mounted like that outside of Chicago. |

Yea, and if they want they can stop me for my sideways mounted plate on my harley too. It's all a matter of how pissy is the cop that day. |

horizontal, visible from 50 feet, lighted and cant be loose or swinging is law in MA. don't remember if there are any other restrictions other than that. mine will be at the same angle it was, just in the opposite direction. never got hassled in MA but did in CT. |

When the cop gave me the ticket he said it was because the plate was not perpendicular with the ground. He said that the plate should be at a 90 degree angle with the ground so it is easy to read. It was all pretty comical except for the ticket. He thought we were going to run on a 600RR that was -2 in the front and +10 in the back, a GSXR 750 that was -2 and +16, and a GSXR 1000 with a 10 inch over swingarm and a 240 on it that was slammed. He obviously didn't know much about bikes because the 750 and the 600RR topped out at 115 mph and the 1K didn't turn for crap. |

starting to get far off topic, sorry Bads1, last comment... Olinxb, that's what the cop in CT told me too, completely perpendicular to road. i couldn't find any such law. only got a warning. this same cop wanted to hand out tickets to other riders for having their high beams on during the day. said it was 'blinding oncoming drivers'... hmmm, OK. |

Ok, here she is. After several months of working with artists, collaborating on a paint scheme, and untold thousands of dollars spent on custom paintwork, here is my bike! I know, she's a looker! right? All you guys are gonna start copying my paintjob now, I just know it. Seriously, I got to about here on the paint and my wife started complaining about paint fumes. So I just put it back together so I can ride it. Paint will have to wait 'till this summer when I can properly vent the fumes out of the garage.

Nothing to crazy but it is a ways from stock. Still got some more tricks up my sleeve, but it's getting there.
