Could you tell me if there are any after market levers available for a 2000 M2? If so, could I have manufactures or web sites? Thanks |

They are available. I have an adjustable brake lever on my '97 Cyclone, but gosh, I can't tell you off the top of my head what it is. If I recall correctly, some of the Kawasaki levers are a perfect fit. It's in the archives somewhere. Cool, did a search for "adjustable brake lever" in the KV and found... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=3842&post=282414#POST 282414 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=3842&post=97359#POST9 7359 Adjustable Brake lever, Lockhart-Phillips # 240-1215, fits Kawazaki EX500, ZX6R, ZX7R, 10, 11 and all tube frame Buells, too! The adjustable brake lever from a Kawasaki ZX9R around 95-96 is a perfect match Part# 13236-1185. And the Kawasaki Zephyr had an adjustable clutch lever Part# 46076-1165. Adjustable clutch lever needs a little modification (10min switch in side) because Kawasaki switch connecter has 3 pin, Buell has 2 pin and reverse action. Brake lever is just bolt on. Total parts cost about $80. American Sport Bike used to carry an adjustable lever too. I didn't see it on their online storefront though. But it would be worth checking on. |

We have inexpensive adjustable brake levers for the tubers (will not work on XB) Black - http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7595892&rnd=9151 288&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=PROD227&cat=&catstr= Faux CF - http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7595892&rnd=8012 207&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=5683&cat=&catstr= We don't have the inexpensive adjustable Clutch levers. The CRG's are pricey but worth evey penny on the clutch side. It isn't just that they are adjustable that makes them rock, it is that they are adjustable on the fly with a sweep of the finger. In town, or stop and go, move the lever out to the farthest position, so that you can get full clutch travel and full disengagement. But in the twisties, where only half clutching is needed, one flip of the finger and the lever is closer in. Your closest knuckle is so much stronger than your finger tip joint muscles, especially up in your forarm where the tendons resolve. It is a huge reduction in forwarm pump with the CRG levers. Gotta chime in on the CRG's - I installed them on my 98 S1W along with a set of Crossroads clip-on bars, and LOVE THEM. I'm 6'4" so the S1 is a little tight for me, but moving the bars out and down gave me a lot more room in the "cockpit", and the levers perform just as Al says. Swipe of a thumb (gloved or not) and you can adjust the lever on the fly. I got stubby blacks (I only wish the adjuster was also black to give an ALL black lever - Al?) and have no leverage problems at all, traffic or twisties. Great upgrade, worth every penny.
