same here ulywife...i keep Badweb minimized all day long on my work computer... Think of the sound about twenty Buells would make at speed crossing Deal's Gap...I can imagine nuts falling from trees, animals running in all directions, would sound like a volcano ready to erupt. hey Paint_shaker, I think all us Badwebbers (even some that may not be able to do the whole weekend at MBIV) should "blow up" the dragon that Friday with as many Buells as possible at the store at one time, And then roll into T.W.O. as a thundering herd together. |

roll into T.W.O. as a thundering herd together Instead of Rolling Thunder in Washington DC, we can be the Rolling Buell Thunder in Suches GA! That county may never be the same!

Although a Buell contingent for Rolling Thunder would be most impressive. If we could get a good number of riders.... |

You all seem so excited about this MB IV I feel like I should leave for TWO tomorrow. It's about a three and a half hour ride for me.......lets see.....if I leave at 10:00 am tomorrow I guess that puts me there.... O'....say.....EIGHTY ONE DAYS EARLY! I better not leave yet.....it might get really cold yet this year.....I'd wear out my tent.....my sleeping bag would be shot.....my business would close.....my wife would kill me if she could find the place.....I'd get lonely.....and hungry.....yep, with a hundred reasons more I think I'll wait. |

XBrad9... that is the plan... Leave TWO with as many Buells as we can get, shoot straight to the Dragon, Hook up with the other Buell contingent that should be there and then come back across the Skyway!!! P.S. If you have never ridden the Skyway, it is very righteous!!!! Lots of turns, good views and a LOT less traffic than the Dragon.... Then a nice back road back to TWO!! Is it March yet?? Somebody smack me... |

On my way back from dropping my son off at WCU, I stopped by Kevin Drum's shop in Hickory to pay him a visit. I tried to talk him into coming down for the Badness. He may or may not be there. Being this late, I told him his best bet would be camping out at TWO. I also saw and heard the new mongoose/carbon fiber drummer on his xb12s. Sweet! For those of you who have yet to meet him, he is one helluva caring person, and quite a character! |

So,the Dragon is a scenic parkway? I'm aware of course of the 318/11 dealio. Is it mostly a motorcycle destination? What's "The store"? A souvenier shop? Coffee shop?...ok,ok,i'll find out for myself... |

The dragon is an experience for all folks who love to corner. Sadly I cannot go with yall this year but I will go again. You will find a ton of bikes up there, some hot rodded cars and lots of enthusiasts. The corner shop is a gathering place with a restaurant and souveniers, bike parts, gas etc... |

And right now it is a bunch of 2x4s. They are remodeling durning the off season. They completely leveled the store, and are rebuilding. One word of caution about the dragon. This probably won't be much of a concern when we go... but... The dragon attracts all kinds of drivers.. those who CAN drive, and those who THINK they can drive. The ones who think they can, often drift over the yellow line in blind curves. So always approach with the idea of staying right of centerline.. that way you won't scuff up your helmet. |

This is what I have so far, with regards to a BadWeB area/tent. I figure I'll have it on Saturday, Friday will be for everyone getting set-up, settled in, and the Meet & Greet Friday night. So, Saturday morning from whenever I get to T.W.O. until around 2:00, myself or someone else will be there with at least name tags, and (if I can round some up) good maps of the area. Just stop by, hang out, and we can have a bonfire Saturday night. The Bonfire is kind of a 3%er tradition at T.W.O. so everyone that stopped by can come by the bonfire and see/meet everyone they missed during the day. How's that sound? |

We're ready! I will probably have to get a 3%er to help me unload the M2 once I get to TWO so I can go drop the trailer at the cabin and come back! I'm sure that it will hard to convince someone there to ride a M2 across the street! |

New12r usually brings his 80. Britt has a Honda Mini Trail 50 (exactly like my first bike only chrome) and sometimes she lets us play on it. I have some pictures of it and of the 80 in action, well, some of the 80 are already posted above... We'll get an itch or two before the event and take a ride up, we call it Pre-Badness rides. Next time we go I'll take pics, it'll be just like you're there. |

Shred should have his Fiddy as well. My neck brace comes off just before the event so I should be limber and able to have fun!! Even though I wont have my own bike I am still pumped. |
