That hurts to look at. Being bored sucks. Do you read books if so I have a couple of good ones that I read during the time off. |

MNTrider....post up the titles and authors. I'm not much for a book reader but here lately I have been. I mostly like zombie books and the likes. I just finished a five part book called Autumn by David Moody. Easy read and can keep my attention, which is saying a lot. |

Ouch. That is painful to look at. I was actually thinking about doing an S to R swap if you want to part with the tail section. |

Looks like a race bike to me That needs to be raced or tracked... When you start piecing her back together I'll donate a front rim. Its got a small ding in it but rides fine. Its off the old White 9R. It's one of the last things I have left ...I've donated parts to different people... I can also get a set of 03' 9R forks for 150.00 in mint shape Let me know when your ready... (Message edited by shred on January 08, 2007) |

B-S I have two great motorcycle reads. One is Monkey Butt by Rick Sieman. It is one of the best books dealing with the life of a motorcyclist. The other one is Ghost Rider by Neil Peart. It is an alsome adventure and really hits home. If you have not watched Long Way Around I also have it on DVD. It is 6 hrs long and one hell of a journey. I guess you can tell I am hung up on motorcycles. |

New12R, If you are into video games, and namely, racing games. Look up Track Mania Nations. It is a free download, and IMHO is one of the best racing games out there. It is played on the web, or you can run the tracks that come with it. I have spent countless hours on that game. If you do it, I have the same screen name on there, so look me up. And dude.. that looks painful. As was said.. looks like a good candidate for a track bike. Rebuild her.. then name her FRANKENBUELL. |

Sancheez - I have a pair that aren't the purtiest ever, but not bad. I bought some purty ones off Sunshiny. They're yours if you want 'em. Got any home brew? Chuckster, you want a book? Son, I got books. Just finished "Zen And the Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance" Doesn't have anything really to do with motorcycles, well it kinda does, it's very deep and Philosophical. I've read it like, three times. I gots King & Koonts & Crichton...Whattaya want? I have some sea kayaking books too...They're boring as shit. |

I saw that show last night also i think...Redline?...i think it was called. My brother works for NOPI and the NDRA and attends all the NDRA sanctioned races. I think the guy Dan at Battleground helped tune his last civic. Him and his girl can drive like mo-fo's. |

I gave up on the pain meds yesterday, I am like the really mean drunk in the family who everyone hates when I am on opiates. So my spirit and attitude are much better today. The pain is easier to deal with than the withdrawls of heroin COUGH COUGH I mean pain killers. |

> They're yours if you want 'em. Got any home brew? Cool, they can't be any more scuffed up than the ones I have on the bike now. Unfortunately there probably won't be any more home brew until the summer. The beer doesn't ferment in the cold, and my gas bill would put me out on the street if I kept the house warm all day. > Drifting is one of my other hobbies. That looks like so much fun. Isn't it really expensive to replace your tires every time you do it though? |

Tires can actually last for a couple of events. It all depends on how much power you make. But it is still very expensive. Thats one of the main reasons I bought a track bike. For the same amount of money I can get a few hours of track time versus 10-15 minutes. That and riding is still more fun than drifting. |

JUST MAKING SURE YOU HEAR US! That means waiting till you're healed to start anything strenuous. Like turning wrenches. Just making sure you have ANOTHER riding season to come back to. Like you said, Shepard's is full of people who knew better than the doc. Smokescreen |

I have not been doin shit but sitting around. no heavy lifting or anything. I am really bored tho'. Trust me i do want to get back on a bike, i dont think I could make it without one. Yes I am trying to go back to work, just not turning any wrenches. I will go and run the other shop and I would have a trainee to do all the work. I just tell him how and he would also do the emissions while I supervise. Right now I am on 0 income and lots of bills and my heater took a dump last night to top it all off. |
