Let us know how it goes. You might want to bring a few friends along, tie a rope around one ankle, and have your friends drag you out if the initiation goes too far. I'm no longer near the WestBendGroup, I'm now near the SuburbanMotorsGroup. I have no idea if this is any better, but their BRAG members seem to have a select invisibility mode whenever I'm in their dealership. Guess someone warned them about me or sumthin'. |

Some good posts regarding the 20th! I've also made some less than politically correct comments regarding this whole matter on ATC. All I have to say is that this is going to rock! Why.....because everyone involved in this event is doing so because they actually care. BTW...I received my first dinner reservation from BMC today. They are listening and watching |

According to a gal at HOG in the USA (I have a letter to prove it from them) BRAG Card Holders are entitled to all the same rights as HOG Card Members and vice versa. I own a Buell Motorcycle but am a HOG Card Holder which will change in August when the HOG Membership Expires. I am also the Director of the Newfoundland Chapter Harley Owners Group (That one still makes me weak - my wife says I sneaked in while the HOGs were not looking and took over). I don't think it has happened yet but I would assume a HOG Card Member would be able to join a BRAG Group as well. I am also pretty confident that I am the first Buell Owner to be the Director of a HOG Group on an International Level. Maybe Court would be able to comment on that one but I would really like to know. Bill, if you want a copy of the letter or the contact person at HOG (I really don't want to post her name or e-mail here) please ping me. |

Bill, you can join Hog with a Brag card & can join Brag with a Hog card. So long as you belong to 1 of the national clubs..either Brag or Hog you can go on any rides, attend meetings, etc, etc. Right now all I belong to is Hals Brag club, the Hog deal wasnt worth my time & if I do decide to go any of their rides, I have the schedule & simply show up...guests are always welcome. |

Thanks for all the input folks. Will play it by ear at the HOG meeting. Now my question is...If I live closer to either HD or Buell than any of you...Why do I not have my copy of Fuell yet? Duh... Oh well, will catch up on the Newfie News when it finally arrives. LOL |

Mike, your looking for "Smiley", meet him at POT, seems like a nice guy, he mentioned a book with members names and the like, maybe you could find one of those things around town, he mentioned 8 members, with over 200-300 buells sold, maybe its time to drop the dealer a call, he also mentioned that the chapter would be on the web shortly, so maybe its time for another look hope this helps Roger |

Wow...Talk about boring. Glad I am a Bueller. No plans to change that in the near future. "Gimme Money and donate your time" was the repetitive preaching. Damn, I thought I was in the audience for a Tele-Evangelist. The Coup de Grace was I heard so many stories about premature failures and dealer dissatisfaction that it made the BWB at its worst look tame in comparison. Oh well, at least some of their parties are fun. |

Bill, I go out of my way to avoid the Hals HOG group. Just something about them isnt quite right. Havent really put my finger on it yet. Ukes HOG club is actually pretty good, have a lot of super friendly folks & no begging for money ever. Racines is pretty good as well. |

Dyna...It really wasn't that bad. The social part is fun. I just keep forgetting that it takes a lot of time and money to organize such grand social events. |

The bigger the club the more time and money and effort. I believe KettleMoraine is one of the largest HOG chapters. Have you looked into one of their smaller internal subgroups?

Mike...The whole group is fun and floating from one to another subgroups is a real slice of life also. Like I said before, I just forgot how much time, effort and money it takes to make things work. Heck, look at what Spidey and his team are going through to put on the Buell 20th. Trust me, after last night, I have a whole new appreciation for what they are going through. |

To that end, I am confident that you all are doing a great job. I just needed a little reality check to fathom the issues y'all are dealing with.

Hey all....just an update on the hotel situation for the 20th..... It looks like almost 1/2 of the hotel is already booked. I'm not sure how many are from this event. Don't forget to book your rooms in advance! Also...don't forget to send those dinner reservations! We're limited to about 150ppl (I think). T-minus 3 months & 1 week |
