Thanks Shred, that's pretty much what I've been doing, only I've got something like a stress ball. About the only thing I have trouble with is when I'm gripping the throttle and want to raise my fingers to the brake. It's better now than it was. I guess six weeks in a cast can't be undone in a week or so. My little finger is really stiff too, only it doesn't hurt. I was 185 on my birthday a week before the wreck. Can you say Blackened Chicken? |

Shred.....Is your leg 100%??? If so, I have found that the best way to keep the old spare tire flat is Jogging/running. If you can't run then a low impact eliptical bike is good. Simple fact: Persistance/Determination Stop eating before you fill full Do some sort of activity that raises your heart rate for 20 mins or more. Hitting the weights never hurts either. I'm telling you...that Heavy Bag is the cat's meow. I did a work out on Thursday night and I am still sore....Lats, shoulders, forearms, legs...not to mention there wasen't a dry piece of clothing on me. I love it. |

I've stopped eating until I'm full. Its amazing the habits we can get. I'm eating more fruit, lots a water as always. I eat lite foods with no extras, no fries. Haven't had a Chick'n mini with creamy white death...as Charlie calls it from Ckick-fil-A in three weeks. Thats says a lot.. The leg isn't the problem, its the Knee and every things thats connected to it. The Doc' says he can't believe I'm walking...So I'm happy with what I got for now. I'm trying low impact things, and hitting the weights a little and mostly dieting. Thanks for the advice.. Went to the hill started getting wet so I turned around and came home. I'll try again on monday since I can't go to Jennings.... The other night I broke a stud off in my rear wheel, then broke the Snap-on extractor off too. You know what things means...its time for some fun. |

Well shred at least your bike is running.... Glitch, had fun till the bike started acting up. I am sure I fouled a plug, only running on one cylinder. I will let it dry and pull the plugs in a little while. Starting freaking pouring rain after I got away from you, I am freaking soaked!! |

Starting freaking pouring rain after I got away from you, I am freaking soaked!! Yep, I got caught in that rain that wasn't supposed to be here until tonight too. Wet, cold, a little sore, with a GREAT BIG smile on my face! I love to ride! It's so nice to hop on and ride, even if I am soaked! I hope the bike's ok, sure sounded terrible. We'll ride again soon. Shred, you never said anything about riding to the hills today, you no like ride with us any more? |

Wanted to ride this morning but it was already wet when I got going. New12r...hopefully its just a plug. Shred....Stick with it and you will see results. Slap ya a knee brace on with some rigid supports (CVS has them for pretty cheap). "Creamy white death"...not even gonna touch that. Just got finished installing some new speakers in the 4runner. Infinity Reference. 4 1/2 in the front with external tweeter and 6 1/2 in the rear. Man, do they sound good. Guess you get kinda use to factory until one blows and you replace with some good quality. |

Ok, someone please tell me how my bike had been running at all. I found the front cyl. spark plug wire was not even connected to the coil! Luckily I keep spare parts so I am back up and running strong!!! |

At the coil?! Hey! It was something simple! I love it when it's something that's a no brainer to fix, and have the parts on hand. I wish the weather was better... I wanna ride. |

The old wire was rusty!! That is how long it had been disconnected! Went to Target and got me a 7 person tent with a doghouse attached for my overnight trip to jennings. I got me a queen size mattress and some warm azz sleeping bags too. (Message edited by new12r on December 30, 2006) |

Hey Chuckles, I just picked up a new/old stock muffler for the Blast. I'm not thrilled with the Kerker anymore and it's almost ground off on the bottom anyway...I remember you had Odie do something to yours, or you did something to yours, or something...What'd you do and was it worth it? I've got good flow, just want to keep it is all. |

How do you figure jennings is looking better I just got me a new rear shock, pulley for the spare wheel, and a new swing arm baby!!! Are none of these gonna be ready for jennings? At least the rear shock? I know it sucks about having to go by yourself, and all. I promise to try to keep myself in one piece, so next track day you'll have a knee draggin partner. rain! |

I should have been more clear, Gentelman_Jon and I made a deal so I could get all the parts from him shipped for a good price. I should have them in a few weeks. Looks like my whole ride down will be in the rain! Good thing I got some Special Reserve Crown to drown my sorrows with tonight. Signing off in an hour. Did Frank do it? This was MrsG's present to us. She had everything all set up and ready to go. She didn't know about Frank in time. Jamie at Good Clean Fun did them for us. |
