Hey guys just wanted to let you know my recent experience with Whitt's HD/Buell in Manassas, VA. I needed to get my 500 mile service on my 2002 Cyclone and pretty much every dealer in the area insisted that I wait for a 1000 mile service (which contradicted my owner's manual). Through this board I met up with Brad who is a service writer at Whitt's... he was very helpful, told me the best time to drop the bike off. He even called to see if I wanted the rejet done while they were looking at it. Anyway, it is obvious that he and a few others there are pretty enthusiastic about Buell and they have a good stock; most new models are well-represented and they even have a couple of used tubers for sale. People in the metro DC area should give Whitt's a try, I'd be happy to return my business there. Even the Harley guys aren't TOO bad... |
