Does anyone else have problems with keeping their rear wheel clean? I can't seem to keep carbon off of it. I'm running a D&D with a race ECM and an open airbox so I doubt it's running rich. Is there something that I can coat the wheel with to reduce maintenance? anything?? |

I hate the dirt that accumulates on the rear wheel too. I think the Amber wheels may make dirt look move obvious than the plain aluminum wheels I had on my Nine. I don't really have a solution, but I find cleaning them once a week with Plexus, which is great for cleaning and shining the Black Plastic on my Twelve, leaves the wheels with a shiny surface that just might make them easier to clean the following week. The trick is to clean with one rag, polish with another. Only takes a few minutes, if one does it regularly. Anyone else got some ideas? |

S100 is too expensive, but I use it on the wheels, works great! |

A layer of car wax/polish will help to repel brake dust and exhaust particulates. It works on my car and is recommended by the manufacturer. You can't keep the stuff off, but you can make it so that it comes off easier. Once waxed I use Meguires Quick Detail to wipe off the "scunge". |

Wheel wax works wonders... works much better than just regular auto wax - not sure why, but it does: http://www.autogeek.net/wheelwax.html |
