I have an '07 Uly and I noticed a 2 pole connector terminating just above the oil level dipstick, this lead connects to the battery with a 75 amp fuse on the positive side.Would I be right in assuming that this was for connecting a trickle charger? I have not been able to find any reference in the owners manual or the service manual. Thanks |

That should be a 7.5 A fuse. You can use it for trickle charge or even for an electric vest... |

its typically something that your dealer puts on your bike during set-up. Then he can sell you a trickle-charger to maintain the battery. |

I've got one that the dealer said they put on every bike they sell. But mine exits the right side just above the compression adjuster for the rear shock. Pretty handy. |

I have one too. I believe it's a dealer installed perk. My dealer also gave me a battery tender as a freebee when I purchased the bike. As previously posted, works for electric clothes, too. |

Mine is long and black. It matches my bike. |
