Thanks to all who responded to my post regarding the Buell X Waterproof Gauntlet gloves. I stopped at a local dealership to check them out but of course there were none in stock. The dealer said they were not impressed with the X and strongly recommended the Spidi Fjord which is a lot more expensive at $159. I ride year round in the Mid-Atlantic region so I don't mind spending the extra money if it means more comfort/warmth. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has the Spidi Fjord gloves.

Never seen those exact gloves. However, Spidi makes some VERY NICE leather products in general.

That there is the problem! The dealer is trying to up sell to the higher priced product by trying to discourage you against the lower priced gloves. I would never spend $159.00 for a pair of gloves! I have the Buell gloves and I like them!}}

If iyt is possible with your current location, wait for the national motorycycle show to come around. Picked up two pairs of gauntlets last year for 25/pair

Take a look at the "Shock Racing" gloves. I bought a couple of pairs at Laguna for $49 / pair (normally 69 I think). I had a little getoff at the track and the gloves came through great. Knuckle protectors worked like they're supposed to, all seams held up, and no wear through. On top of it all they are comfy to wear.

What's ya'lls solution for hand cramps/numbness? Gel grips do anything? I like my Allstars GP Pros (and I've tried two other brands too), but I get a certain amount of numbness and discomfort regardless. I try to refrain from using a deathgrip on the bars and this helps, but there's got to be a way to keep a reasonable grip without your right hand going numb. Kinda makes it a crap shoot if I need to grab the brakes in a hurry, know what I mean?

switch to an aluminum bar...I did and it removed all noticeable vibrations...no more numb hands.

Thanks Fish. I am planning on trying out a set of 0 degree Crossroads in a month or two. Reckon they are aluminum? If not, I'm at least hoping the different riding position will do something for me.
