I just bought a 2005 firebolt xb9r when i brought it home it would run but it ran rough and now it wont even start. I think the gas is bad and possibly the spark plugs need changed. I found the fuel line so i can change the gas and put new in but I cant figure out how to change the spark plugs or how to get to them any suggestions? |

There is a drain plug in the fuel pump at the back of the frame, this is the easiest way to drain the fuel. Remove the left side air scoop to get to the front spark plug. Remove the seat, airbox cover and airbox assembly (t27 torx) to get to the back plug. You'll need a 5/8 flex plug socket and a 12" extension to reach the plug. Even with the right tools they're tricky to reach, have fun! |
