WOW, I step away from the thread for a few day's to go have an adventure myself and I come back to find the twins havin beer's, rockin out hard with Lonesome River Band and hanging out with fellow BadWeber's, now how cool is that! pretty cool, i'd say. I do have one question though, who is that odd ball pick hangin with the twin's? JB2 found the green pick lying on the ground and figgered he'd (she'd?) make a neat companion to the Twins. (after all, aliens ARE supposed to be green, right???) the next day, however, in an effort to rid the Harley of an annoying exhaust rattle, i used the green pick as a shim between the exhaust pipe and the muffler, and i haven't seen it since; it's either inside the muffler, or back on the road somewhere, waiting for another opportunity at BADWEB stardom. Oh, the pic of Matt and Alex, AWESOME! thx! Thanks again my friend for taking Shel and I along for the ride. Very cool stuff to see and read. Jim it was my pleasure, my friend. heck, you guys even did the Santa Fe Trail. FB |

"..Lovely pic's. Rocket.." You mean you're not offended by seeing your handle on another piece of American machinery that has failed to keep pace with the Japanese and European efforts? The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad (CRI&P RR). I may have been pulled along by that very locomotive on trips between Chicago and New Mexico in the mid 50's. Let us bow our heads and sing together: "The Rock Island Line is a mighty good road, The Rock Island Line is the road to ride, The Rock Island Line is a mighty good road, If you want to ride you gotta ride it like you find it, Get your ticket at the station for the Rock Island Line" Jack |

Not at all Jack. Have you seen the state of British Rail? BR had a slogan sometime ago, "we'll get you there". Some wise arse newspaper columnist added 'eventually' about a day after the commercials hit TV. Anyway, as transport goes it's only motorcycles that America seems backward on. Except for the Moto C that is Rocket |

Not seen BR in a long time, and only once at that. Had a nice jaunt from London up to Scarborough on an aging but well enough maintained and comfortable green box with doors, windows, and comfortable seats. That was about 1974, I assume it has not deteriorated any since. :> Jack |

Seriously, Jerry, do you have a job? If not, I suggest motorcycle-photo-journelist. Great pictures. |

London to Scarborough in 1974? There's a marginal improvement on the trains, but they dug a lot of the regional lines up since 74. Did you like Scarborough? Please tell me more Jack. You were holidaying or working? Rocket |
