JUst recently bought the buell blast 2000 and worked great for 100kms until suddenly will travelling 80km/s the bike stalled, the engine still sounded like it was running but when the clutch was pulled in it wasn;t running. Tried Fuel system cleaner and worked for 50kms but then it started doing it again. Took it to the dealership and they found nothing but then when i tried it again it continued to stall once or twice in a short ride. Doesn't happen in the stop go but at a constant high speed. Please help!!!

Next time it happens, loosen the gas cap and see if the problem goes away. If it does, the vent hose for the tank is clogged. It's not a terriably uncommon problem.

Air flushed the vent hose and it continues to sputter when idling, it back fires and still feels weak. Any suggestions??

Yes, there is a rubber manifold connector which attaches the carb to the manifold. It is known to develop cracks which will cause the symtoms you describe. Try replacing that. Its a $3 part. If your dealer doesn't have one, go to the sponsors section of this board and post in the "dave I need it now thread."

I should have suggest that first. I misread your first post and thought the problem only happened when crusing down the highway. I see now that you didn't say that.
