A buddy of mine from work and I spotted a XB-S today in South Daytona but didn't get the chance to say "hey". We were headed north on A1-A. What a beautiful day it was! This was my first "long" ride since the wreck. My buddy (who now has a nice XB) and I took off for New Smyrna the up the coast a ways to Daytona and back home. I was a bit sore when I got home but no complaints! Anyway.... it would be great to meet some other Buellers up that way! Al where the hell are ya? Nick | ||

looks like i'll be over during biketoberfest. if you fill like you need to get out for a group ride sometime. the first saturday of every month the brag club of lakeland H-D meets up for their ride. didn't get to go yesterday do to side work but they usually have some good rides. | ||

Thanks guys, it is good to be riding somewhere ...anywhere! Cool Al, I have your number in my cell phone still! hey Rich.. good to hear from you. I had started to miss the weekly visits! Octoberfest... well you just say the time and the place and we'll be there. As always, the doors are open if someone needs a place to thrown down their sleeping bag. we haven't planned anything like we are for March, but that doesn't mean you cant't stop by! Nevr: I spoke with Lafayette yesterday for a while. I think he his going to miss out on Biketoberfest. Ken and I may try to catch a BRAG ride next month, especially since you guys head out early in the morning. We were going to head over for the bike show but I just wasn't up for the long ride home in the dark. Especially coming back through O-town. Happy Monday! don't know whether i'll be taking the buell over or the ultra. but name a place and i'll be there. probably going over thursday night or friday morning. a buddy of mine has a condo for the week right on the beach. | ||

I got a card in the mail with ticket prices for "Fall Cycle Scene" racing. It offers free tent camping at Daytona International Speedway w/ daily admission ticket. Was considering riding over Saturday morning, watching some of the Moto-ST 8 hr race, staying the night, watching the CCS & ASRA races, and then heading home Sunday afternoon. Has anyone ever camped there before? How are the shower/bathroom facilities? Anyone else plan on attending any of the racing? Can I expect to see any XBRR's running? | ||

When you come to Daytona make sure you come to the pits, lots of Buell activity will be happening. Please stop and say hi. And the MotoSt will be FUN. Cheer us on, #70 Jamesgang Racing! Camping in the infield-yes, I think showers are available. Last year all you had to do was open the door of the r/v and have a bar of soap! |
