so i went and rode a 12r last weekend and man was i disapointed.. i used to own a 2004 9S and compared to each other does anyone else find that the 9 revs up way faster than the 12. the bike just seemed super sluggish on bringin the rpms up. Im thinkin there must have been something wrong with the bike.. has anyone else riden the 9 and 12 and noticed any difference. |

Your 9S was broken in and running like you wanted it. The 12r was new and perhaps not set up properly. The 12's I've ridden have had more low end pull than my 9S, clearly more. |

The speed that the motor picks up revs is one of the reasons some people choose the 9 over the 12. The subtle differences in engine character were done as they are on purpose to give us more choices. |

i have ridden both and my citx revs faster than my friends 12. that is how I can keep up with him. They are a pretty close match until you get up higher speeds. I do also notice that the 12 will pull the wheel up easier also |
