Well fellow Bueller's,I had the misfortune to get highsided on the weekend in the land down under,it was a low speed off,no more than 30kmh,got into some loose stones on a dirt road, opted not to hit the brakes, but ride it out over a small shoulder in the road, came across a small drain in front of me,got through it,and just clipped a resonable size rock on the edge of the front rim, blew the rim to the shithouse and a peice of it came round and lodged in the brake caliper, and low and behold here came the freakin highside. A small dent was put into the left side of the tank/frame,just in front of the puck, broke the front light and speedo pod off, broke the left mirror, and put a dent in the rear swing arm. Geometrically the bike looks fine, but my local dealer seems to think that my trusty Uly,may be going to the big graveyard in the sky, looks like she'll be written off. Moral to he story, even a low speed off can kill a beast in the right spot! Now have my name on an 07 model,oh well, that should give me all the upgrades I was going to do............lol I got a cracked rib,a corked thigh, and a nice bit of concusion,to top the day off too! Keep the shiney side up,happy Buellin ta ya's all. |

Put a schrimp on the barby for me while you recover. You should attempt to buy the "remains" and make it into one of those Mel Gibson Mad Max bikes but please refrain from the buttless chaps those end-o-the-world crazies were famous for in those movies. |

And refrain from drunken outbursts like Mr. Gibson's. What a dick. |

Easy Cutter! We all have the right to be a dumb ass, even Mel. The only difference is that he is/was in a place of influence. Those in a position to lead are judged more strictly. No one gives a crap when the homeless person on the curb mouths off. |

I love Mel's movies. "Payback" is awesome and that "What Women Want" is just plain Mel Gibson genius. Mel has his personal demons and is only human albiet a very wealthy one. Just look at the guy and notice how he has aged. He's a boozer and boozers say things that non-boozers just keep to themselves. |

All right, I'm adequately castigated. And I have to admit I loved the first couple Lethal Weapons. But the Southpark episode that spoofed him is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. And I just want to add, after reading "back to the dealer again" that I'm glad I only dissed Mel Gibson and not the quality of early 06 Ulys (mine being made in 9/05 and having suffered only the broken license plate light cover). Hey, two things I never do when drunk are cast stones or ride my Uly. Sinner? Well, sure, I reckon so... |
