I found this on Buell.com: http://www.buell.com/en_us/mania/racing/racingnewsdetail.asp?news_id=1056 I've never heard of this class. But it seems at least enough to say hmmmm. Asbjorn |

Really great stuff eh? For sure it warrants more than just a "hmmmm". I personally gave it a big "WOOHOO!" http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=158664&post=742915#PO ST742915 |

I agree.. It is more like a whoohoo!. The reason I am not going that far is that I don't know how competitive this class is or anything about Michel's background for that matter. It appears to me that the XBRR has done more than what Buell could have expected in the first year. Appearances (with emphasis on the plural!)into the top 10 in AMA's FX. Buell has been strong in the other AMA classes also. This is the first time I have heard a peep from Europe; and a great "peep" it is. I am very much looking forward to next year's racing season, because I think Buell has worked out a great many wrinkles in this first season and the future looks bright. Another thing is Buell's approach to a racing program with a 30K bike and a parts support program. That widens the field of Buell factor racing to just about anybody that is willing to buy one. Other factory program consists of picking up a couple of professionals and showering their team with racing money. The Buell grassroots approach is going to be interesting to see how it pans out. Excitement! Excitement! Asbjorn |
