I was just looking around and didnt see any pia lights modeled for the S3T. But i did see a couple pictures of S3T with piaa lights mounted on the mirror attachment. Does anyone know what piaa kit would work? and what mount would work? Thanks in advance |

I haven't looked at the PIAAs for the S3, but just bought the 1100X Platinum lights for my S2. When I receive them I will model some L-brackets that will hang off the front turn signal mounting bolts. I will most likely have the bottom of the L pointing in towards the bike so the lights hang under the fairing, but I'll have to take a look and see if there is enough room. I'll wire the lights through a relay and am still debating whether to activate the relay through the high beam or a separate switch. Henrik |

I tryed to install my lights last night and took off the S3T body/gas tank and went to town on it. well I started with the battery connections first. I wired it so you can turn the piaa lights on and off with out the engine on because i didnt know quite how to wire it to the ignition switch. So now i have a dead battery(the switch was in the on position the whole time) and AAA will not jump a motorcycle battery. I tryed to push start the moto but my dirt drive way wont give it any traction to get goiing. Any advice would be helpful. Ill send some pics in soon. I would realy like to wire to the ignition if anyone knows about how to do that? ps my home made piaa light mounts are ugly any examples would be good.. Thanks so much for everybodys help. |

You could wire a relay through the ignition switch. That way you aren't running all the current through the switch. |
