Was going to change my front brake pads but I do not have an allen that is big enough to remove the caliper mounting fasteners (the bolts that hold the front caliper to the fork). Anyone know the size? |

Actually, It's getting to be time to change the pads on my S1 too. They look to be the same size. I'm thinking 8mm. Anyone know if I'm right? Blake, I'll give this post another day, then I'm ditching the Knowledge Vault for future questions I need answered w/in a day. Sorry, but this is my third try posting to the Vault. It's a good idea, but not may people peruse it looking for people in need. It's just not the world we live in. |

Rob...buddy! I just did this a few weeks ago. Its an 8mm Allen. I did not have the right one either, so I went to Lowes and bought the Kobalt set for about $20. It has sizes from 4mm to 10mm. Very handy on an XB model! Hope the East coast is treating you well! Drake |

Thanks Drake. The riding here isn't bad once you get out of town, but that is definitely a challenge! Can't wait to get the XB out on the road. That is if I can afford to insure and license the damn thing... |
