does anyone know if a bent pm wheel can be fixed? where i should send it? the whole wheel appears to be bent at the hub. when i spin it on the bike the whole thing (incl the rotor) wobbles a little causing a brake vibration. i got the wheel from a high mileage bike & installed new bearings. thanks |

Nukeblue, Someone here posted that they contacted PM in the last month and they don't do repairs of their wheels. OTOH, there are lots of places around that will repair motorcycle wheels; here are a few links that I found: http://www.classiccomponents.com/Dealer_Inquiries/Repair_Services/repair_service s.html http://www.framestraightsystem.com/ http://www.mindspring.com/~techbiz/wheelbender01.htm http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/WireWheels/Wheels.htm I have no personal knowledge of any of these outfits; I'm sure there are others. Good luck. |
