It seems there might be some interest in a Buell Racing web page. I would be willing to set one up. Everyone could send me thier pictures and notes on races and I would attempt to make a cohesive site out of it. Nothing fancy, I don't have a ton of time, but a palce to hold as much Buell racing news as I can collect? Any interest? Send me your stuff with RACING in the subject line and I will see what I can come up with. dave at davegess dot com |

Would you be willing to have it hosted on BadWeatherBikers.com? |

For posterity's sake, ditto for your history site. What do you say? |

To clarify, I mean in addition to your own site. |

Auuh, we already HAVE a Buell Racing site...right here on Badweb. It covers three distinct types of racing where Buells are involved. What else do we need? Why else do we need it? I must be confused... jimidan |

I'd like to see something (either here or on a different site) with some organized history, news, photos etc. The problem with the format we currently have here (no offense intended, it's just the way it works) is that a little bit of news becomes quickly diluted with a LOT of BS. |

"...is that a little bit of news becomes quickly diluted with a LOT of BS." Truer words, have never been spoken. |

"The problem with the format we currently have here (no offense intended, it's just the way it works) is that a little bit of news becomes quickly diluted with a LOT of BS." I think the BS you are talking about is really called opinion. It is only BS when you do not agree with it. If you do agree with it, you call it gospel, and think, "Golly, that guy who said that sure is smart!" Isn't that the point of a site like this? Nobody makes you read anything past the first post. jimidan |

No problem with opinions here. It's the people who jump in with the - your dumb, your a liar, your exagerrating, etc. that cause these threads to deteriorate to the realm of BS. |

I don't know how many of you know about this, but this is Darren James' "Ruthless Racing" team page. http://www.ruthlessracinginc.com/ His Blog http://www.ruthlessracinginc.com/blog/ |

Thanks Jscott! And Jimidan, feel free to replace my colloquial "BS" with your preferred "opinion" if you'd like, but that still doesn't make it any easier to find a photo of Jeremy Mcwilliams at Laguna Seca or find out who's leading in points in Thunderbike. You may well be right that that's the point of a site like this, so that's why I'd like a more organized section/site. |

Organization is good. For racing info, http://www.roadracingworld.com/resources/organizations/ will get you all the info you ever wanted, not to mention their on the hour up to date reporting on their breaking news page. For Thunderbike, click on the ww.ccsracing.com link and then on the Schedule/results link. I think Dave would do a great job rolling together a lot of interesting racing stuff. If he does, I'd just like to maintain a copy of it on our server too, for posterity's sake. |

He affirmed in an E-mail that they WOULD be at Mid-Ohio....considering the points chase in SuperBike and my last chance to get some shots of the XBRR this year I have bought a plane ticket to Columbus.Attempts at goading Blake into showing up hasn't worked(now what in the world would have stopped ya' Blakester????you mean you work too??)so I think maybe American Sport Bike AL might be going , or at least I'll be working on Joanne too for THAT one.Either way this will be my first time at this track and does anyone out there have any suggestions for a nearby hotel?I'm hoping the track is close enough for some of the Buell Elves to show up , cause I'd REALLY like to hang out with some of them and perhaps have a beer or two.Hope to buzz over to Ft. Wayne and visit my old friend Sonny from FastBike Technology too.Any suggestions for this trip would be appreciated...thanks!
