I'm flying to Phoenix to buy a used, 670 mile Uly this Friday. Heading north into Utah, east into Colorado, south into New Mexico, then east back to VA. I figure 9-11 day 3100 mile return trip. This will be my first time ever riding a Uly.

Some of you already know about the trip from another site. Anyway, just thought I'd say hello. Looking forward to the trip. If I break down along the way, I might be calling on one of you from the RAN listings. Cheers. Dave

I think you'll be fine Idave. My first trip less than a week into Uly ownership took me from Birmingham, AL - St Louis - Chicago and back. Not quite the same trek but I have confidence with 'em.

Idave, I saw your post on Advrider and it drove me over the edge. I picked up my Uly Monday and am looking foreward to running into you. There will be a few Badwebber's at deals Gap the week of 9/10-9/17. I'll be riding down Sunday 9/10 from Roanoke. You can also check out TwinValleyRiders.com they have weekly rides locally. So much to say...make sure you set up the suspension per the manual. The bikes toolkit has all the necessary well tools. NUTS
