Im kicking around the idea of selling my drag bike. Im just about finished with it and I havent even ridden it yet... I dont have the time to race as much as I need a house. I am almost homeless with 4 bikes and somethings gotta go. This was going to be my dedicated race bike for next year (and whats left of this year) but I cant keep all the bikes...ill just keep racing the sporty... Its a 96 S1 with an 01 X1 motor. Its gonna run 10's in the 1/4 mile...we have built 3 of these the same way with the same results...all in the 10's. everything in the motor is brand new with 0 miles. break in heat cycles only. It was a donor motor with 3100 miles on it to start with. motor specs: assembled by new castle harleys race mechanic Rob. Hoban bros. bottom end with lightened and balanced flywheels knife edged with windage tray. everything is new in the bottom end. all new bearings, pin, bushings, everything is new down there. top end: Thunderstorm heads with stage 3 port/polish by MegaFlo. manifold matched and flowed to the heads. brand new valves, heavy duty springs, titanium collars and keepers. flows like it should... New Axtel 1250 kit w/Nikasil cylinders with CP pistons (lightened and balanced) Wrapped Force exhaust. mikuni carb. New daytona/twintek ajustable ignition and coil. electronics: pingel air over electric air shifter with pump. New dyna 2 step. New autometer tach and shiftlite. New pingel kill switch. chassis: buell s1 frame with good title. (bike was titled with this x1 motor...) 3 spoke wheels. New 530 chain drive setup (ill have to count 'em to see the gear ratio... i forget what it is). powdercoated inverted WP forks. brakes: showa up front, brembo in the rear. 2001 buell front rotor (newest update). pingel wheelie bars. Strut. Vortex clip on bars. small tank and body with nice paint. this bike has the very best of everything. I have around $19000.00 in it like it is. I have receipts for all motor work and almost all the parts. Im sure I forgot some stuff, ill repost if i can think of anything or ask if you have aby questions Id like to see 10,000.00 and Id entertain offers or trades.
