I haven't spent a great deal of time on here lately, but definately have had this place on my mind. Never did post a bunch, but did partake of many of the threads, and did as much as I could to help to support the dealers that help Blake make this place possible. Unfortunately I'm going to have to let the 12R go due to an ugly, drawn out and down right financial nightmare of a divorce. You guys/gals have been a great help in my questions and its been great to have met a few of you in person, but I guess next time I see any of you it will be on some cheap 2-wheeler that I will have to scrounge up after the whoopin' I took from the court!! But believe me the preaching about Buell will go on, I will continue to spread the word about Mr. Buell and his great line of products! 12,000 trouble free miles(1 year), ridden hard and put up wet, ridden 28 days a month straight for 6 months, and still kicking hard. THESE BIKES ARE THE BADDEST!!! But know this I will be back, I will have another Buell!!! So until then adieu fellow Buellers, adieu... Oh I'll still check in from time to time to see what new innovation Erik and the rest of his team, along with this crazy group of Badweatherbikers(his extended team of product designer/testers)has come up with so keep up the good work fellow Buellers!!)} |

Good luck burner.....been to divorce court hell myself. (lucky for me I gave the whoop'n and didnt receive it,but it still sucked the life and $avings out of me). I can tell you one thing, that things can only get better from where you are now. Hang in there and you will be back on a new Buell in the near future. |

I feel your pain. I'll be divorced a year in October. I'm poor, but I'm happy! |

Lost everything but the bike. Was one hell of a deal keeping it but I still have it. The financial pit is very large but the ride helps me gain some sanity every once in a while. Hang in there.. and look at it this way. Whn you are able to get another Buell the newer models will be out. Good luck |

Good luck, Paul. You can always sell it to a friend for one dollar and still keep it. I don't know how close you are, but you can come to Arkansas and ride my bike whenever you want. |

Ramen noodles, tuna, and crackers allowed me to pay off $16k on a mid-80's E-4's pay. Then I bought a KE250 for $100 and fixed it (that's a story by itself). It's not so bad after the initial $$$ shock. |

Hang in there Paul. Thanks for the kind sentiments. I sure appreciate them. Here's wishing a quick recovery, emotionally and financially from a very trying personal ordeal. |

I tell you when I hear something like this I hate it. You will come back better than ever though. I hope the best for you. Damn, I wish I had a billion dollars because it's times like this I would help some brothers out if I did. Take care of yourself and you will live to fight another day. Greg in KY |

Thanks for all the kind sentiments!! You all have been a great help through all the good times and bad, too bad I didn't marry the Badweb, at least then I'd be assured a bike in the settlement!! It's funny, so far I've been ok in my financial straits, at least I'm happy. |

Who would ever imagine that being married could be so bad when it goes wrong ! I got divorced and it sucked . You don't really know a person till you start having problems . Good luck and hang in there ! |

Goes both ways !! I used to ride on the back of the Harley with my ex-husband, of course he got the bike I couldn't ride it !! So now "I" ride myself, something I would have never done had I not got divorced (change can be good), and the next guy will NOT get my Buell !! |

I hear 22 mag shells are pretty cheap... JUST KIDDING! (or am I?) Sorry to hear of your loss, but hey, maybe by the time you get back up to speed, Buell will have come out with a new gen of XBs, or have some other exciting new addition to look forward to! ~SM |

So there is no way you and her could work the marriage out? Then that way you'd get to keep the Buell. |
