Bach to topic; The touratech kickstand pad thing wont allow the stand to come all the way up, hitting on the race exhaust. Waste of money. |

Xbimmer, The lights are 50w halogens I picked up at Pep Boys for $29. They work. Mike Long Island, NY 06 XB12X Black of course. |

In materials class in engineering school we would cycle (bending, ect) materials until failure. You cannot expect acrylic or glass or any material (even a rubber band) to rattle back and forth endlessly without eventually propagating a crack at some point. That is why Slipstreamer windshields are supported by aluminum rods that attach to the handlebars. |

I've got the Cee Bailey +4' windshield. It moved the air pressure off my chest, but just moved the buffeting up to my helmet. I'll probably go back to stock. (I'm 6'1") |

Here's what the Slipstreamer rods look like attached to the CB+16. Yeah, it's dirty.

Rkc00, You'll want hardware kit #A1A. http://www.slipstreamer.com/Product/Hardware/hardware.html Then look up your nearest dealer. I ordered in Omaha and got it in just a few days for about 40 bucks. Make sure you order for the 7/8" handlebars of your ULY. Since it is for one of their windshields it has some parts you will not use and that is why it costs about 40 bucks. It is real nice hardware. Just call your local motorcycle parts dealer and ask them if they can get you Slipstreamer windshield parts. Chances are they can. Good luck. |

Factory tall screen also gets my vote as the worst accessory I've bought. I'm 5'10" and prefer the cleaner air of the stock screen to the buffeting I got with the tall one. |

I prefer for the windshield to take the brunt of the wind force. I didn't really love my ULY until I modified that CB. |

My Cee Bailey tall screen flew off at 70 hitting me in the face and chest. I finally found it later. I called Cee Bailey and they did'nt want to talk about it. That was one time my turtle reflexes saved my ass from crashing. I reccomend cleaning the whole fastening setup with alchohol. It seems to hold better afterwords. That screen was my worst accessory hands down. |

Wasn't that screen the plug-in one similar to the standard? |
