i made a " h-p reverso" style home made muffler that with race ecm and open air box was running too lean to fix that i was turning around direct link , tfi or power commander , and last the new rapid bike .
finally i get the rapid bike that i think is very similar with direct link like software so...the muffler does'nt works , there is no way to find a good map for that but when i mounted back the buell race muffler again after modify some maps
(the maps coming with the software are always to quite and similar to the original one) .......it seems a turbo charged bike . i'm really pleasured by this stuff , its pretty easy to use ( not like tfi of course) and you can do the tps reset also .
if somebody else has this, other informations are welcome

Sounds to me like your "Rapid Bike" system is the same product as the "Direct Link" system by Techno Research. Is that your conclusion?

They are very different, but technoresearch handles both. Rapidbike is an in-between box solution a la power commander, Directlink is a direct ECM programmer.

to Al
please explain me ,
my conclusion is : with direct link i remap my original ecm doing a different fueling and a different sparks timing , i can adding or subtract fuel in this or that step ( rpm and throttle position) , i can advance or retard spark time in this or that step to , is it correct ??
with rapid bike i'm doing the same with the difference that i'm not working on the original ecm but in another one , like you say , between the original one and the bike final functions , is it correct ??
I want you know ...i like engines since ever and for sure i like H.D.and BUELL but its not my job "SIGH" .... i' m just try to learn more reading and asking around when i can , and spending a great part of my small free time in the garage (my wife is really not happy because of this).
So if you can let me know somethings about
ex. ? ? whats the limit of timing to stay between to make no damages to the engines
rapid bike timing start from zero , zero means the original mapping of the original ecm and you can add or subtract 0,5 degrees each position . Maps( regarding time) for xb that comes with the rapid
bike are always no more of 2,5 degrees from the original zero , maximum , and only around midrange rpms at 80% full throttle opening .

In any case
Thank you and to all very much
Alessio
